Is there a Tuning thread on here anywhere?

I wish there was an easy way to go through all my tunes without having to jump in each car. I've been getting a bunch of downloads lately and I don't know what ones are popular or how many I even have out there. I need to go through them all and do a list which I should have done from the start.
 
When you are offered a car at a discount after a free-play, is there any chance you already own that car? I have no way of checking before buying.

I dont understand the tunes process. I dont want to do my own tuning, I guess I am offered to buy them but only when I am about to run a multiplayer race? Very confusing.

Willing to pay for them, but how I am offered them I am not sure.

It will only offer you cars that you don't already own. And if you can't afford the car yet you can always press the skip button (B on the xbox controller I think), that will let you save that set of rewards to be found in the rewards section of the main menu whenever you want.

Thanks, I use a wheel and will do this if I can from now on.

Unfortunately there isn't. As for the tuning downloads and what not, that is another area that just boggles my mind on how they left it that way. Unless you get in the car with the tune you uploaded, you wont know where those downloads went to.

That's not actually the case. It seems that initially the game will cycle through all of the available cars that you do not already own but then once it has completed the cycle it will offer cars you own. It has offered me at least 100 now that i already have. There were a few that I did not have yet when it started repeating and I just ended up buying those without the discount.

Change the Paint/Design on your car and/or delete your current one. It’s hit and miss whether this works or not.

I find that thumbnails will only respond to changes made in between booting up the game and entering a driving session after boot up. So after a driving session thumbnails seem to cut their ties to customization.

Yeah I wish there was something under the stats menu which shows total downloads and the numbers on each car etc. Be nice to know if anyone has set good LB times with them too. I think I'm going to have to keep wishing on all of that though.

It’s one of the cars that’s exclusive to the Specialty Dealer. You can buy one when it shows up on a week’s rotation but for any extras you’re looking at the Auction House.

Sort of. Only a 3 vehicles are in there a week, and for the past 4 weeks it has been repeating the same vehicles that were released the first 4 weeks of the game. 3 more will be added next week.
 
In Multiplayer we’re introducing two new Breakout hoppers today – R Class and C Class. These two hoppers will sit alongside our currently existing A, S, and P Class Breakout hoppers, giving players even more options for the cars they want to race online.

Is Daytona one of the glitched tracks for AI or did I set it up wrong?

I ran a race on the road course and one of the AI cars was 2 seconds faster than every other car on both pro and unbeatable difficulty. I was using V8 Supercars as well and in each case they were using the same car as me so it's not like they could have had a HP advantage. It kind of ruined my plans to run a shortened 24Hour race this weekend and a 500 mile race in February. At least I can still do my Bathurst plans.

I've been working my way through the Forza Rewards tiers over the years and thought I was finally going to bump up to Tier 11... but NO!

So close, but so far:

I have found a few classes on Daytona where the AI get a HP boost, In some cars it makes a huge difference as some are geared pretty high and turn that extra HP into a lot of speed. The biggest example I have saw was in I think sport GT where the Vette was going about 40-50 mph faster than was possible for it in that division easily beating the top leaderboard times by a large margin.

I'll have to try with some other classes and see if I can find something fun that works (I don't want to go with the usual picks, hence why I tried the V8's).

It really is annoying how this is something that has been going on since FM5 (at least they have it down to only certain combos). :rolleyes:
 
I got a bit of a weird bug in the Spa endurance race today. After I pitted, it changed from manual to auto. It was still set as manual in the assists on the pause screen.
I just had to change it to auto, then back to manual, then it was fixed. I can’t remember whether someone had mentioned it happening in here before.

I've had the same thing happen to me on the Daytona Oval.

I am run into on purpose EVERY time, doing Lambo race right now.

i go out of my WAY to NEVER hit anybody, ONCE in a rare while I hit someone, but I will CRASH before I hit someone...

Just now I was run into even when I went all the way to the side to get out of the way. MS needs to reimburse me for my LIVE membership, this is BULL

I have been racing the Breakout tournament and seen what appears to be a Z4 M Couple but can't see it to buy in the BMW dealer. Is it just a CPU only car??
