:D manteomax is like a living database, true that. but even according to his list, its 90 daylight + 18 night time + 22 weather.
disregard the weather as badned says, and you've got 108. which is more than 102, but close.

Either 102 or 108, both numbers are almost half of the announced 200 Forza7 ribbons.
sounds good
Ah that's true, didn't think of it like that. If they aren't counting weather variations on FM7, than yeah might as well compare FM6 without them. Wow, so 100 extra variations with barely more tracks. That sounds kind of extreme.

yes, but I edited in that "..worst case scenario, we will have a ****load more of night tracks"
still very good I'd say
(..unless someone is still expecting tod though

Badned is not just a member of a forum. He's the owner of forzacentral.com (another forum for your feed), and last years he works within turn10.
so what he says, its guaranteed ;)
Just for clarification, BlackMagix is the owner of the forum; BADNED is one of his Admins alongside Ninjateq and Jamesways.

BADNED doesn't work directly with T10 either, but he is heavily involved in the gaming industry, as he has teased info about a few other games. 👍

...and probably going to tease us with game screenshots some days before september 29th.... :nervous:

thanks for the correction. as I wrote to PJ T, my info dates few years back, certainly not the latest 8)
he is still very reliable though

I still haven't seen anything about Blueprint making it over which is worrying. The tools in career mode sound alright though (there better be a classic compact class!). I will probably stop by the evil empire (Gamestop) next week and pre-order FM7 and PC2, than figure out how I'm going to balance them later.

Hell, I got paid yesterday and contemplated that myself as well. With so many good games coming out within racing, and even outside the genre, I'm going to be spending a pretty big chunk of money if I try to get them all when they actually come out.

JUST DO IT !!! :D

I preordered already F7 Ult.edt.,still waiting on some more PC2 info
As for Blueprint,i think T10 still keeps lots of info for later, they tend to release info in chunks as we get closer to release.

I've also preordered FM7 as well. I really liked their car packs in FM6 that contained so many cars I haven't known about. That was awesome! :D

Can't wait to hear more about the career mode, features, and so fourth soon. ^v^

Is it me or Forza Motorsport struggles with lighting in tunnel? First, FM6 and the tunnel at Rio and now Forza 7 with Dubai. It's simply too dark.

Why the day one DLC exists, though.
The vast majority of a game's revenue typically comes from pre-orders and the initial few weeks of launch. Anything that can either prop up revenue during that period or encourage people to buy on launch day is considered.

Also, people keep buying DLC on Day 1 and if it ain't broke, don't fix it ;)

From the DF article

But just as impressive is the implementation of full dynamic lighting, allowing for gradual time of day transitions as well as a full-on weather system - all real-time now, as opposed to FM6's baked, static equivalents. During our Turn 10 visit, we could see how the developers could tweak lighting and weather on the fly during runtime, as easily as a movie colourist grades footage. The Nurburgring is the host circuit for demonstrating both technologies in the E3 demo, where a grey, overcast day turns into a fierce thunderstorm, before subsiding into a clear skies sunset, the track illuminated by floodlights. Everything we'd want from dynamic weather is here in terms of effects, but also with water accumulation and some beautiful reflections in the puddles - check out the end of the gameplay footage to see this in full effect.

Dynamic TOD confirmed?

Dynamic TOD confirmed?
they've already talked about how same track will always have gfx that make it look different, be it luminocity because of dynamic shadows cast of clouds, also you can easily see on the e3 demos that the sky has pretty different color from start to end, but I dont think they'll go full 24h cycle, like forza horizon or ..skyrim.
nice dynamic variations in daytime, and night time tracks would be my guess. makes the most sense too.

edit:
After watching the latest digital foundry video, I am happy that they finally acknowledge Chris Tector's superiority.

even though he was mocked last year...

And because sometimes we have to bless our own beards as we say here in my country, here is what I said last year right after E3 2016 scorpio video was unveiled:
Jun 16, 2016
Report #7
for scorpio, the only thing I am sure of, after watching chris tector on the reveal video, is that forza 7 will be 4k/60 on new machine, day 1.
as I wrote above, in my opinion if it will have dynamics (tod/weather) or not, it more has to do with what more they can squeeze out of my old xbone until that time.
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ar-for-forza-7-to-match.347198/#post-11424583
well, it seems I only got wrong the day 1 part. chris tector's so ****in' fast he got it ready and released day -35 of console release!

I can't remember, does XBL charge you right away or do they wait until the download starts?

They charge you right away, can't remember if you can back out of a preorder and get a refund or not. So, if you're not sold on the game yet, just wait until they reveal more details.

Pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition and it gave me the VIP, Car Pass and Day One Pack. They were downloading but there was an error saying that I need the actual game to download the add-ons.

Dont bother with downloads now,way to early (sadly) :D

I just came to the realization that FM7 will be the first odd numbered FM I will play since FM1. My 360 broke before FM3 and I didn't get another until FM4 and I didn't purchase my XB1 until last year so I missed FM5. I've extensively played all the even numbered ones though.

I was trying to tell you, that errors because there is no Forza 7 for download yet
And yes,i preordered Ult.edt as well.
