I predict multiplayer will be shown in the oval track. Trolls will rage, but that could give us very useful insight on the dynamics of the thing: driving dynamics, etiquette, penalties, pit stops, etc.

All this nitpicking on visual features and not a hint of self-reflection. There's an entire open question on the progression system and whether FM will be a good game from the point of view of game mechanics, and people will still cry, shout, and vomit their anger saying the car models aren't ultra-super-perfect.

Gamers™! Will nothing ever satisfy them?

Its pretty sad how we lost so much cars overtime as a result of people crying over this mundane crap.

Maybe I never noticed to care at all if the car models are bad in the various racing games I played.

Only thing visible to me that was bad was Gran Turismo 5 and 6's standard cars which were visibly bad. Then again I still enjoyed playing them despite this issue.

Interestingly in the same FM pic, the wing and the diffuser still have a glossy carbon finish. It could be that this car, specifically in this video, has a paint job?
Yup, its just the paint. The wing shows the carbon glossy shaders perfectly good with that RT reflection. Also you can literally paint 3 types of carbon fiber in FM from glossy to matte so don't see the fuzz about this.

I can EASILY nit pick every car model in every game out there. It accomplishes nothing. Just give me a kick ass fun game.

Here's a Koenigsegg specific nitpick in Forza: The jesko's speedometer is gyroscopic and remains vertical even when the steering mounted display rotates along with the steering wheel.

It's represented as such only in Crew motorfest and PC3 Afaik.

But, anything's possible, we'll have to see tomorrow. Already only two-ish months to go until this comes out... It feels like a lot but with how busy the threads have been, time's melting fast!

I wish every racing game fan would be obligatory to watch that vid i had posted few days ago about Nostalgia before to post anything about racing games....

Thanks a bunch for that list, I was looking for one earlier.

A thing that people had not talked much but T10 had hinted A LOT was about bring back some history of the racing
They said some tracks will have classic layouts back (Laguna Seca was confirmed to have, i wonder what other ones will also have, i assume interlagos, launch or post launch will also have their old layouts also in game since they are are mostly still existing in real life), and classic cars are slowy coming back as well, i saw that the F1 Benneton was on FH leaked cars and i think some new-to-motorsport will show up like that Benneton that was leaked few years ago

This wasn't meant to be nitpicking car models and visual graphics. As people have pointed out, many games have problems with car models too

What I was trying to convey was what appears to be their lack of care and attention to detail. There's glaring visual bugs in their teaser trailers. Why aren't they putting their best foot forward when they're teasing their brand new game? When they haven't given us many videos of the game, there are a lot of people scrutinizing each and every frame looking for hints and easter eggs

You'd be surprised at how many visual details don't come together until the final month of development.
I'm aware, I've taken two semesters of game development and have a minor in game design. They could have done some workarounds or put the camera in positions where the visual problems weren't as obvious

They don't care mate, they are confident with what they've got, it will all come together just fine in the end.

Oh, how I wish that includes Fuji Speedway... All those layouts.

Another rather firm suggestion that they're just deleting offroad stuff from FH5 and putting the rest into FM8...

Hopefully they don't consider road cars with rally heritage to fall into that category. It might be very obvious bias, but my heart won't be able to take a missing 22B. :scared:

They won't. The Familia GT-R is on the list. As for something else, I hope the Infiniti Q60 won't be the concept version, but I doubt it.

Unrelated: What is the X for Twitter? Did something change?

GTP has a "confirmed car and track list" thread, you know:
However it hasn't been updated since June. @YoungRhombus are you able to continue the updates?

Also @Famine has put a ton of work into the official GTP guide for FM2023 which includes car and track lists: https://www.gtplanet.net/forza-motorsport-2023-guide-20230611/
