Given that the RIDE series, from RIDE 5 onwards, will only be on current gen, and considering how this Forza Motorsport looks (it actually doesn't convince me 100%, I don't know why, yet it tempts me)... Guess I'll take an Xbox. Probably a "total black" Series S with 1TB SSD (it will be available here in Italy from September at €349.99 as a retail price, maybe soon the street price will drop as well). I like its aesthetics and then for my needs it's perfect, it costs the right price and I don't have the anxiety of an SSD with only 512 GB...

It's just a shame that probably both Forza Motorsport and RIDE 5 will keep the most interesting additions as content for the respective Season Pass, we know how things go.

Series X. @MrCrynox's tweaks helped me complete a lap and I felt so chuffed but I've kind of shelved the game in favour of ACC now and'll try and come back to it at some point in the future.
I actually enjoy the driving on a controller in PC2 more than ACC. It may be more realistic, but I don't feel anything in ACC, apart from feeling like I have a flat when the TC kicks in (?) Disaster might be one corner away in PC2 but the challenge of keeping the car balanced and getting braking, gear changes and acc right makes for a great game for me.

Forza doesn't have a season pass concept. You can buy extra DLC (30 cars) and VIP (some free cars and +100% money rewards) but it doesn't ask you for any micro transactions or additional payments per season.

Heck, in Forza Horizon 4 and 5 they have released 150+ additional cars into each game as part of their totally free seasonal mechanic. That's the total opposite of a paid season pass!

I spoke of season pass not in the strict sense of the term but in a broader sense. I meant season pass like RIDE 5 (in which you pay to have all the additional packs that will be released, saving money compared to buying individual packs), without any additional payment "per season".

Forgive me for my bad english and also for the misunderstanding. I know Forza actually gave up (thankfully!) on microtransactions.

These track reveals are seriously making me excited!

I'm a few minutes behind from the livestream, but am I right in assuming (or hoping) that the multiplayer system, at least with the "spec events," is set up to allow players to pick tuned and upgraded cars regardless of whether or not they've done all the unlocks in career mode?

That's correct. I don't usually care about MP but those spec races have got me interested.

I love how T10 is always trying to find ways to make their games more playable, like race length options in career, switch cars during a championship and now 'skip lap' in qualifying or hot lapping.

They just showed the wheel lock go past 90 degrees. 🤷‍♂️
I personally like new fictional tracks and the options for MP are real nice. They're doing some good things it seems.

Spec series will have pre tuned cars to select from, no leveling required

Open series is where you’ll have to tune and upgrade cars to be competitive

Featured Multiplayer sounds like the Gran Turismo MP/Sport experience... Which is ****ing dreadful.

Loving Fuel load and Tyre management though, although it stinks of Gran Turismo yet again.

Why so? I really look forward to it.

BOK
I think it sounds great and exactly what i was hoping for, what were you expecting?

I hate the restrictions of Gran Turismo Sport mode. I want to go online and race in, C, B, A etc Class, on a rotation of tracks.

Not One car type, on One track. Or One class for a week. Backwards.

I wonder if there will be some kind of reward/gift for past Forza experience
I think it will be in-game money as far i know
New fictional track just announced: Grand Oak.
If the name was not obivus, they kinda hinted that is their fantasy vision on VIR, what is kinda weird since VIR will be also in the game

Custom Lobbies are still up, if you want, you wont just raise your ranking in the game, but they confirmed that custom lobbies will be in the game outside the featured races

Custom lobbies or Private Multiplayer/Event lobbies?

I want Hoppers from every single class, with every single track on rotation. And not with 3 other people in the lobby, like Gran Turismo "Multiplayer".. 😂

when you divide the player base up like that then the safety rating and driver rating no longer work or became to inconsistent.
