Yeah the XA has really long gears. Easily solved by "sport" transmission upgrade and shorter rear end ratio.

I find it annoying we have to switch to the sports transmission to change the rear end gear though, should be a separate upgrade. The XA Falcon is cool though, it's one of the few muscle cars where upgrading to sport transmission doesn't give it a 5th gear, so you can keep that "proper" muscle car 4 speed.
This was a godsend for the Aussie Classics series, thank you!
This sort of low PI series with classic muscle is the perfect fun series for me, at least it would have been if I hadn't been spun by the AI at Turn 1 of Sebring Short, Turn 3 of Sebring Short and halfway up the hill STRAIGHT at Bathurst. The idiot AI behind me wanted to be where my left rear was, so it could slavishly follow the racing line on the right hand side of the straight up the hill. Hit Rewind and then the ****er did the same thing again! Nearly threw the controller at the screen at that point...

Honestly, at this point the divebombing and spinning by the AI is spoiling the game almost totally (for me at least), as it happens in 50% of races, and I can't put up with it much longer.

I know it might remove the realism but in the Accessibility options you can turn off Collisions in Single Player. I use it sometimes.

I'd like to see some rules being enforced, and flags used. Is this possible with the game?
I know single player has rules that gives penalties for cutting corners and hitting other drivers. The latter in with the Sports rules and Expert rules. Club rules doesn't penalize for ramming though. Edit: Flags aren't used as far as I can see.

Things had been slow so far, I know is holidays but I was expecting some leaks or something like that right now

I had been worried due the lack of information, I hope the game doesn't die out before at least next Horizon launch

Relax, everyone is probably on a holiday break and the next update (which doesn't include a track) is probably done at this point and hopefully is a house-cleaning kind of update before tackling next year's roadmap.

January also mean 24h of daytona so if turn10 follow the logic maybe we could expect bmw race cars.
We been down this logic road before with T10, expecting particular race cars for said update only to not get anything associated with it. I hope we do but I'm not going to hold my breath I mean for all we know it could be nothing but road cars. So yeah we'll see...

I was asked by a co-worker if you could just do this weeks Ute challenge without having done the previous three. I don't think you can. I think it's just like the open series, you have to do each challenge to open up the next one. That's correct isn't it?

I'm going to speculate we will get the LMDh and M4 GT3, primarily because they don't excite me much and then I can be the only person not excited... but also because, as I said a few pages ago, I expect this update to do something that will make lots of people hyped and positive again so they can be disappointed with the February update.

The M635 CSi was the main one I wanted back, will go nicely with the VK Commodore we just got back for Bathurst racing. Now we just need the XJS and Starion back, and the Rover Vitesse from FH4...

The E34 and E39 M5s would be solid returnees, particularly if we got the '04 CTS-V back soon as well, to race the E39 against as they were a fun rivalry pairing in the FM4 days.

While I wouldn't exactly be excited for them, I wouldn't turn down the '14 M4 and '08 M3 coming back if they keep their bodykit options that their GTS counterparts don't have. They are also more versatile as they start at a lower PI.

My pick for "forgotten BMW in the Forza lineup I'd like to see return" is the E46 GTR race car. It doesn't really have anything to race against, but it should be quite nice to drive.

My pick for "not gonna happen, probably ever" would be the BMW 1600GT. Would be a fun car to race with stuff like the Cortina and MGB.

Even if they are more suited for Horizon, a wagon BMW variant would be nice considering how wagon-obsessed (a good thing) Horizon is as of late. They are probably saving those for FH6 though.DJI_0068-scaled-e1621884889355-1147x645.jpg

Saw two driver suits while driving in single-player races last night that I dint normally see. One was a Marshall suit, that I suppose is used in multi-player racing. The other was a "creator" suit that had things like controllers on it. I only wish I had taken screenshots.
