If we race online in a room, and we do clean laps, does it count for 'hot lap records' ? If so, and if you are online ofcourse, we could do some qualifying becaus I haven't done any yet..

Yes, those laps count. I ran a few laps yesterday after work and did a little better...I got frustrated with the dirty laps so I didnt put the time into it that I should have. I'm working today but I'll put in a few more laps this evening, if I'm not too tired. If I do see you on we'll run a few. :cheers:
 
The first corner is a lap killer, but I'm really liking this car on this track! I reckon I can shave a bit more off my time with a really good lap, but a 1.27.5 is out of reach
 
My dedication to the man. Seen a picture of Shelby with 3 of his Cobras and they were stripe delete with 2 stripes on the side...Kinda like it

I am really struggling to get my tune right, if anyone could send me a tune over I would be very grateful.
 
You guys are welcome. This will be my worst qualifying position so far. I just got home from work and I'm too tired to improve my time. Hennessey, I would send you a tune but I haven't put much time into mine and I'm not completely happy with it....I'd have to test and tweak it more before I thought it was good enough to share.

No not yet. I haven't even had time to do a qualifying lap. Will drive around later tonite when I get back and see where would be a good shot.
 
Alrighty, here is how the grid/photo op lap will go. We will get into grid order right from the start, the photo op will be held at the last LEFT turn before the finish line. Each driver will back their car up so we are following the outside edge. Here is a sample. Also when we get into position, hold your steering wheel to the right and hold it there for about 20 seconds or so, just enough time to get uniformity. Then once it is finished, we will proceed to the finish line in grid order. *Hopefully this goes smooth. Here is the order for qualifying members and anyone not qualified will be last.

1- Forcone
2- Fezz ST
3- DeadlyDC
4- hennessey861
5- A Man Hamster
6- GSlooney
7- zr1chris
8- MarmiteEngineer
9- Teewiggs
10- KATPEELER
11-FBI Specialist
12- AVVSOM3

Assuming I will be the only non-qualifying member on the track, I estimate GSlooney or zr1chris to be positioned at the center of the arch.

I was so tired yesterday I fell a sleep :indiff: Woke up 8 hours later on the couch :banghead: I wanted to qualify.. Oh well :D I'll still join the race though. I hope the race won't take too long becaus I don't want to miss the Champions League finale :P

Come to think of it, I don't think there's any other track where every single corner is a nightmare! :ill: If the corner itself seems easy, there's some bump or weird camber etc. to throw you out of shape. Really, really difficult track.

Fezz, the only way to take the pole from Forcone is to wait until the last minute to put your best effort into qualifying. If you run your fastest lap early in the week he will just wait until the last day to beat your time. The guy is so determined to get the pole it's crazy! :P He'll just wait until you post your best time and say you can't go any faster...that's when he strikes! You just have to reverse it and put aside a few hours right before the deadline and then pull out all the stops to beat his time at the last minute. That's what I did to get the pole in week 1. :D Oh yeah, never listen to him when he says he doesn't have time or is too tired to improve his time. He always says that and he always improves his time! ;)
 
Unfortunately our house is getting a lot of work done to it and as a result I only have the use of 1 TV so I am only able to get on for a while these days :lol:
 
Thanks Carlos, good looking out and since I have some other obligations today I will unfortunately only be able to host the main event. So with an average lap of 1:30+-, 15 laps, it should only take 22 minutes or so.
 
Jimbo, do we go into the "picture-formation" so that the first car (me) is closest to the finish line or the other way around?

edit: And hey guys, remember to be extra careful during the first lap, this car is suuuuper twitchy with cold tires, at least with my setup!!
 
Uh oh....looks like some of you guys are having issues. I hope everyone that wants to race is able to join.
 
i can sign into xbox live then I start forza.. it says I need to connect to live.. do I want to test I say yes it says can't connect to live.. reboot the router.. it's like a circle of death!!! I havn't changed anything so why does it not work it was fine the other day!! had enough if this..
 
I have too much going on here today plus that car is very difficult for me to handle so I took a front row seat to watch. Will update the car and track selection on Sunday as I will not be home until late tonite.
 
Another furious race between Forcone and I, even Deadly joined in towards the middle of the race after Forcone and I had a coming together, I had much better traction and way better on the brakes, but the raw speed of Forcones car had us switching positions quite regularly on the back straight

If someone could send me the warm up lap replay as I forgot to save it, thanks

Wiggs, I tried to send you the replay but my Xbox died on me. I suggest watching at least laps 10-15. Epic stuff! Thanks Fezz and deadlydc for that super intense racing! 👍
