I'm gonna try the Boxster and Cayman in A class and see how they perform....maybe Jimbo will let us use one for the A class race...or one of the cup cars for R3 in a couple of weeks.

Naaah, I've won a couple drunk, I think... But then again, I'm Finnish so what do you expect, right?

EDIT: come to think of it; I'm better in Forza when I'm a bit drunk! I'm much smoother with my moves Normally I'm way too aggressive and intense with my driving... (THIS IS NO PUBLIC ADVICE)

Yeah I'm still behind. Can't seem to be able to put together a "perfect" lap. And the track is just that little too long to be able go on for hours without complete frustration... I have about half an hour left before I have to go to work, so I'll try and improve now...!

I'd like to join your races, and I will if I just can find time to spare...

I think you zone out and don't realize how much time you're actually putting into qualifying. I'll check your in-game status and it will show you hot lapping at Infineon IRL for 2 or 3 hours at a time! I don't know how you do it...i usually don't do more than 10 laps at a time before I get frustrated and have to take a break. Anyway, now I know why you're so fast. You're Finnish and you put in the time behind the wheel to get faster. I won't even send you invites anymore when you're qualifying because I know you won't join!

BUT! Where am I going to find 2 seconds?! That's nuts!! Yesterday I noticed I'm taking the last 2 corners totally wrong so I have something to gain there although I'm not sure what I do wrong. The gap I had was lost everytime after those 2 corners..

The first 2 right handers get me. I either turn a split second too late and go wide or too soon and cut the corner a little too much for a dirty lap. I can stay pretty close to DC's ghost thru the halfway point before he starts to pull away. Sometimes I screw up the last turn too and lose a little time there. I still feel like I can do a 1:43.xxx with a mostly perfect lap. I just got home from work, so I'm gonna play with a couple of Porsches before I go to sleep. I'll run some qualifying laps when I get up.

You can choose which ever car out of the 3 to use. They are all Leaderboard Cars so pretty much equal. Just trying something new.

Yup I'm on nightshift...I'm about to go to sleep in a few minutes. Here's my Porsche first impressions...I tuned a Cayman R to A600 and got within a second of some of my personal best times on a couple of tracks with just a few laps....it's a pretty good A class car. The only other Porsche I've tried so far is the 550. This car is amazing and handles perfectly. I upgraded it to C class, threw a base tune on it and ran a personal best on one of the Alps tracks in just 2 laps, in a race against the AI. I think the 550 will be at or near the top of the leaderboards from F thru A in a few days. It's expensive though....600,000.

Might be a stupid question, but how can I load a club members ghost on the track so I can see how they are taking corners...Cant see the option in the hot lap but is it somewhere else??

The times on the leaderboard with a paperclip icon are the only ones that have a replay saved and the option to race against their ghost. Recently only the top 100 times have been saving the ghost/replay. Click the player's time that has a paperclip icon next to it and choose "race this ghost", or whatever it says. Last time I checked, DC, Forcone, and Fezz were all top 100 so you can chase their ghosts.

Run a few qualifying laps and join us Saturday if you're free. The more the merrier...as long as you don't qualify ahead of me.

Ha, as futile as it may be, I've re-built my Opel and Elise and will give it another go today. I know I won't get the whole 2 seconds needed to run with the top 3, but maybe I can improve enough to get past Carlos...and put some distance betweem myself and Chris.

I'll send it to you....the handling may be a bit too neutral for you to call "fun" though...but that's how I like my cars. It definitely won't slide around as much as last week's Shelby, but I like the way it drives. I got a few dirty 1:43.xxx with it yesterday before I had to go to work. I'm hoping I can put it all together for a time close to Fezz.

Wiggs, we should swap setups sometime so see whether it makes a difference or not! I'm really not a good tuner, I sort of "play it by the ear", and it seems you can come up with pretty decent stuff so it would be fun to test out...

And FBI, if these cars seem too lifeless and boring to you, you just aren't pushing it hard enough! I think these are even more of a challenge on this track than the Cobra last week

I can tell by following your ghost that your car seems faster in a straight line and mine may be a little better thru the corners and braking. I had to figure out how to tune my own cars because when I downloaded those #1 time, top rated tunes, they always drove like crap for me. To this day, I can never put up a decent time with someone else's tune...no matter how many stars and downloads it has, mine always feel better to me.

Send me your "fast" tune please...I'd like to try it. I've had to re-build and tweak the Opel a few times to get something I'm finally happy with. I hope to get close to Fezz's time, but I just may not have the patience....this course is so long and you have to cut so many kerbs just right to get a good time. The dirty laps are so frustrating....especially when you've laid down a good time.

I'll send my tune to anybody else that wants to try it too. I don't claim to be some master tuner, but it wouldn't be fair to DC and Fezz if Forcone somehow bettered his time with my tune when you guys are all fighting for the pole.

Aaaaallrighty then. I guess I'll have to stop making my own tunes. Just bought something off storefront and shaved 0,6s instantly off my time. Lap was nowhere near perfect... Crazy
