I was trying a Giulia TZ2 completely stock but it wasn't fast enough. With max downforce, full power and Racing Softs it could beat the CTR2 and because it's so light the tyres would last long enough to keep yourself pitting at sensible times.
Doing stock settings laps with RS Tyres at around 9:52. So unless that Turbocharger and downforce can give an extra 30-40 seconds it'll be too slow to use. However, I only used 13L to do 2 Laps, 6.5L/lap is the best economy I've seen in a car.
Oh and the car is so easy to drive and I love the gear changes. I could drive it for hours (hint hint). 👍
If I can pit every 6 Laps and only put in 40L per stint (taking around 1 minute per stop) that's 4 stops for 3:30-4:00 in the pits, as opposed to say 6 stops at 40 seconds each being 4 minutes in the pits. It'll be close, but like I've said before I absolutely love the car.
I'll try again with the Turbo and max downforce added, though it drives so well I'm not sure it really needs the downforce.
UPDATE: With max downforce and a High RPM Range Turbo fitted, the car has 249BHP but because it only weighs 620kg it is now still easy to drive but also scary if you hit the curb.
However, even after a terrible lap I still did it 9:25, which is even better because I need to change the transmission which can give a few more seconds. Therefore it may be possible to get 9:10 out of this car.
In conclusion, if you want an authentic racer that can win this race, use this. I love the car, but my personal preference is without the turbo as it feels more fun and easier to drive.
