I like your idea. The only small issue would be getting everyone on the same page if you know what I mean. I don't find it too big of a deal if we just start in whatever random position it puts us in. I'll look into to the online lobby options some more and see if we can figure something out. We still have time before we start a championship series scenario.

I'd like to get a few more guys consistently racing on Saturdays and get the lobby a little more full. We only had 8 for our main race of the day and I'd like to see more like 10-12 at least. We'll do what we did this week for one more week and see where we are at.

The B-Class Supras made for some great competitive racing. I definitely want to keep that trend going.
 
Yeah. I can already tell you I will most likely not race next weekend. Working until 3 (central time) and then I have a bonfire and stuff to attend that night.

Thanks for setting these up every week Chris. It makes for just another great reason to race in Rivals mode and another reason it will take me forever to get through the world tour.

As usual I qualified but probably won't make it.

Decided to avoid the leaderboard lotus' and made 3rd.

With the perfect of perfect laps, I could grab 2nd off crispy but I just can't put it together :(

On another note, I've been over my limit for a day or more now and it's still not slowed.

I think since I've changed my plan mid month I get the extra 15gb for this month instead of the extra 3 I thought I was going to get. Strange that the MB counter didn't reset.

I was trying to stay away from it for awhile and was in 3rd last night until you passed me. Then I said screw it.... I'll run some laps with the Exige. I grab 3rd from you, then exit out just to find out your still in 3rd because you bettered your lap. :ouch:

Wow, just realized the Exige is in the top of the leaderboards! I just picked it because I love the car! :lol: Man, I can't grab 1st though, only like .14x behind. So close!
 
I don't like going with what everybody else uses on the boards. But that's why I'm not very high in these races I think. :lol: Then again its how much you care about qualifying. :)
 
I was running that rival event prior to this week's qualifying already, so I stayed with the Lotus. That Lotus is in the club garage btw.. you might want to try it. It's a nice setup.

Also got my Fanatec setup yesterday. After 7 years of simracing with the wheel, the controller was like playing pool with a broomstick :).

I was quite surprised how much slower I am with the wheel right now. I've got to find two seconds to match the controller laptimes.
 
^That's the car I used. I just absolutely love that car! I tried a couple of other setups, but they were too loose. I like my cars to be hard and sharp. (Don't even think about saying it)
 
I tried using the one in the clubs garage ( black with a silver stripe in the middle front ) and I couldnt stand it. I built my own.

Its great to see how close we are at the top of this weeks qualifying.
 
I probably just don't stick it out with them enough to learn to control them but there is something about the small light cars that make it impossible for me to drive them well. Actually, I don't drive most cars well, but still, there's something about those little cars...
 
Yeah I noticed *lol*, but does it still count? It's not midnight over there, is it? :P

I noticed that. I was watching the leaderboard those last couple minutes to see if you were going to get that one more spot. Good effort.
 
would it be possible to withdraw my time? My friend called me earlier tonight and asked if i could help him move some stuff from his house. It shouldnt take to long but im not really sure if ima make the 12pm est deadline.
 
Whoa guys, brilliant times with the Spark! Must be quite an agile car for such a technical track! I am at work till 6pm here and the race starts 7pm, have to see if I'll make it, sure hope so! Haven't build a proper car though...!

edit: And top 2 even with stick shift, nice! I had to ditch that and butcher my rig (had a wooden bar between my legs) to enable constant left foot braking to keep the Golf in check! :D Still I'm certain it can't reach that kind of times!
 
Dang! I tried and was in the top 12 for what seemed to be about an hour, LOL. That double right kicked my butt.

As for that Spark, not sure how you guys can drive that thing, way too quiet. Every time I try to drive it, I feel like I am in a rocket ship that just exited Earth's atmosphere, turned off the boosters and am just cruising through zero gravity!
 
I really wish I could race with you guys tonight, but I have other obligations and can't make it :( The time is ok (6pm over here), just not today.

@MuchoJimbo: the Spark's sound is ok.. I mean, it's not a Prius :P But you're right about the rocket part.. it goes like one!
