Not sure on the actual size but possibly use some conduit or the like and paint it black once measured and slipped over both sides then drilled and bolted.

It seems the tubing used for your rig is thin as it is so the thickness of conduit would suffice. This, if I am understanding correctly would be the easiest and least expensive, even if you had to buy a 6-10 ft piece, not sure the length they sell at your Woningverbetering opslaan<<< Did I say it right? HAHAHAHAHA?

Hahahahah! I typed it in Google translate, to translate it back in to English, because I had no clue what you meant  The translation is a bit too pure, or how do I say this? Home improvement is good, but 'store' is translated wrong. Opslaan means saving (saving files or something like that) while you meant store as in a shop, that would be a 'winkel' :D So what you were looking for is a 'woningverbetering winkel'! :D You should do this more it made me laugh

Edit:
I like your idea, easier than mine too. I had to Google conduit but I think this is what you mean:
Emt-Conduit-ZJ-PIPE-01-.jpg

It's probably not so hard to find one that would fit on both sides..

(GoTTa QuiT DrINKing BEforE REAdinG pOSTS)

Good looking rig you got there Im gonna hate to race you after you get the hang of all your settings...Got one just like it except for the Frame/Seat..One day Ill get the room to put one in.....

Hey Jimbo, I'm an idiot  I could put the seat back a few more centimeters.... :embarrassed: Only thing I still have to do is drill some holes.

So I was going home from work yesterday, rain started to fall and I took shelter, where I saw this:

I was almost disappointed

I don't even understand what that "graffiti" is supposed to be :D Is that "white" spelled wrong twice?

Anyone tried the new firmware with Fanatec PWTS based wheels? From what I understand, autoclutch is added to all wheels (competitive paddle-shift racing now), and lots of different minor tweaks regarding ffb and so forth.

That's my wheel but I have no interest in updating the firmware. :P I'm just always nervous about that since allot of people tend to end up with problems when trying to do it. I use manual clutch anyway so it doesn't concern me much. ;)

I'm with Chris. I'll wait a while until all the bugs are ironed out before I'd even think about updating the firmware.

Sold my car today :dunce: The plan is to get my motor license quickly now, I have alot of experience with them so that shouldn't be a problem. I really really really want an SXV, so that's probably the first thing I'm buying after I have my license.. Now hope everything goes to plan :D

Dat sound!

60hp/122kg, sounds like driving a lot with only one tire in contact with the road..! My Kawa's been sitting under a cover for weeks, it's been so cold that I haven't bothered to take it out... What a motorist me, hardly... :D Maybe I'll go to work on it today..

Is it a big process getting a motorcycle license over there?

Ooh you have a Kawa? Nice! :D  Which one? You're a little late with driving now, summer is over :( I think winters are pretty tough there? I'm a good weather driver too, I hate rain!

Not really a big process but you have to pass 4 exams; the usual rules exam, two vehicle control exams and one for on the road. New is the second vehicle control exam which I heard was hard.. The book exam is only valid for a year and you have to have that exam before you can do the road exam, but I'm pretty confident I'll pass all the exams :D The bikes they use here are Honda CBF500's. I wanted to get my license earlier but till your 21 you can only ride 25kw bikes and the penalties are higher with a 'learner' license. Then after 3 years I would have to do those exams again to get my full license. Really stupid, because now I'm 21 and I can get a full license in one time :odd:

What Carlos will actually be riding!
carlosmoped.jpg

Hahahahaha! Nice! If that's a real rim on the back, I think I might wheelie the thing :D

Hmm... That's quite close to what we have here, but a bit more stupid I think! :D At least when I had my "A1-license", it was 7 years ago when I was 16, we had to take a written test, just like you, and a driving test. The control test was already done in driving school, so I think they kind of assume you can stay on the bike. At least I don't remember taking any control tests... :odd:

Then when I turned 18, my license automatically changed to "small A" which let me drive 25kw bikes. That's when I got the Kawasaki which is a '07 Z750. Bit low on power but a really fun and comfortable bike to ride IMO. :) Then at 20 years my license became a "full license" and now I can ride anything.

So in here, if you get the A1 or small A at the age of 18, you get to ride big bikes at 20, otherwise at 21. Hope you understand something from all of this..

Haha yes I understand! :D But the A1 from 16 till 18 is only for mopeds right? Pretty cool it automatically changes to a full license, I want that to! We have to do exams for everything (and it costs a lot too, around €50,- per lesson and regular people need around 30 lessons). Luckily I had my car license in 17 lessons :D

Kawa Z750 is a great bike, my buddy had one! I drove it a few times, thought of buying a bike like that. Maybe I will when I get tired of the 'extreme' supermoto. I like how it's sporty but you can still sit right up. He now has a Ducati 1098 but I know I'm going to kill myself with that  Probably a better idea when I'm older than 30..

Buddy upgraded his Kawa exhaust for an Akrapovic, if you ever have to money for it, man you should do it! What a sound

Do you have a favorite bike? I fantasize about an RSV4 next to my SXV :embarrassed:

A1 is for light motorcycles, what is that... 11kw? At 15 you get to drive mopeds by taking an exam. And yes, it's very nice that I haven't had to take any more tests after that first one! :)

I've never tried a supermoto, but sure would want to, they must be so much fun!! That Ducati is such a sexy bike.

About that exhaust, mine has a Leovince GP style slip-on, sounds super sexy to my ear at least. Very loud and "bassy" sound, sure scares the crap out of grandma's. I even feel a bit ashamed at times when driving round town, it's so loud. I might be getting a bit old... NAH, BS! I have a video and some photos somewhere, I'll show you some when I get home. :) I've also replaced the hideous stock rear plate holder/mudguard thing with an Ermax product, which also replaces the stock indicators with flat triangular ones, and I have some mini indicators in front. Other than that pretty stock, which I find more exotic than most overly pimped out POS..

I don't have any particular dream bike. Ducati looks sexy, but somehow I just find a V-engine wrong in a sports bike... :D If I had some extra money now, I'd buy something like a ~06 ZX-6 Ninja for my girlfriend so I could go out every now and then to trash it round a track! I'd also love to trade up for the new Z1000. Or slap a turbo on the 750  It has the block from the ZX-9, so it should stay in one piece pretty well! Maybe one day.... I'd also fancy the first gen ZX-10, the widowmaker. :) Such a raw bike... It's funny how you "grow" into a brand. I like most bikes, but it somehow feels safer to stay with the same brand.

There are just too many great bikes out there to choose from! I also tried a YZF-R6 Yamaha my friend had, totally different compared to my bike, so light and small! Proper pocket rocket!

Man, I'm getting carried away once again, sorry for the OT guys!! But this main thread is a bit of an "FPM Lounge" anyways, no? :)

Had to YouTube your exhaust, I think I know what you mean with loud  Sounds very nice! :D Yeah upload some stuff when your have the time 👍

V-engine wrong in a sports bike? Oooh we are so done misterrr!!! You should try it when you have the chance, the powerband is totally different!

You think your girl is going to like to see her bike trashed on a circuit? :D Would be cool if she drives the circuit to! Hmmm yes the ZX-10 is very nice, no idea why they would call it the widow maker......... I'm kinda grown into a brand to, my first moped was an Aprilia RS50, then another one :embarrassed:, then 2 friends of me bought Aprilia's, now I want one to :D

Yes that R6 is small! Me legs are too long for that bike, my knees are hurt against the tank.. R1 on the other side... :D I know a guy who has that as his track bike, seriously scary powerful

If it wasn't the FPM Lounge, it is now :D

But I'm a little bit sad today :( My moped died on me yesterday and I had to park it somewhere because I was 20km from home, so I parked it at a train station. Coming back today trying to do the repairs there, I found it raped. The seat is gone, everything that was in the buddy is gone (I took my papers with me in case they would steal it, luckily..), the ruined the dashboard with I think a screwdriver, holes everywhere 🤬 And they tried to brake the steeringlock, the frontplastics where all gone and they did something to my wiring and the front wheel has alot of cutting damage because I had it on a chain and obviously they tried to cut it :( I was only insured for damaging others (the moped isn't worth that much, full insurance is expensive!), but I'm not going to fix everything. I need a seat though

Not my video, but a pretty good comparison of the Leovince http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvPWiAkbaJ4

I just didn't put that ugly sticker on mine... Those low-rev tones are very bassy, but it SCREAMS when you rev it high, sounds like a racing bike :D

I think the first gen ZX-10 got it's widowmaker name (at least here in Finland) because it had such a short wheelbase and too much power in a big lump :D Proper noob-killer. My dad had one, and I tried it out when I was 15... Just a little tryout, nothing illegal road racing stuff :) Now he has the ZZR1400 with Yoshimura exhaust and Power Commander, that thing is CRAZY. My bike feels like a restricted 50cc 4-stroke after that. Something like 190bhp at wheel, it's completely ridiculous.

Sorry about your moped, I'd be so pissed if something like that happened to me!! :(

edit: And yes, I should try a V-engined bike, they must have huge amounts of torque!! And that R6 is really a minibike! I'm only 178cm and it felt so little under me! But you Carlos are much taller right??

Sounds good :D I think I've seen a few of those on the streets!

ZZR1400! That's one sick motor. Would probably fit my length perfectly, but not my right hand :nervous: Some crazy guys from the Dutch Antilles who live here (doing nothing (trying to steel my moped), collecting government money and driving cooler stuff than me somehow) are driving those bikes, along with the Hayabusa. They are always stretched when I see them ridin' hard  One time I saw one on a black stretched bike with dem chrome wheels, sliding his way onto the highway full throttle :odd: They are like, the black Dudesons

Yeah I'm pretty tall, 191cm :dunce: The Z750 is perfect for my length though, the steps are lower than on an R6 and the seat itself is higher. I even sat on the back but that was not so nice.. But R6, GSXR600/750, anything like that is just too small. With SM's being tall is actually better for throwing it around I think? I also like really old cafe racers. My buddy and I want to build ourselves one oneday.. Something like this:
bike24_0.jpg

But then streetlegal ofcourse.. :D

Or if I could get my hands on something like this..
http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/gallery/norton/norton-atlas-cafe-racer-1-922x570.jpg

You know Norton once build a bike for MotoGP with a rotory engine, but it wasn't allowed because the FIA couldn't get the cc's right.. :irked: (And that was only a few years ago)

Edit:
I guess you like motor videos, if you haven't seen this one, check it out!

Yeah I think you'd fit on the ZZR quite well. It's pretty low but very spacious. Supermotos are probably best for taller guys, my feet wouldn't probably even meet the ground on most!

I also like those old cafe racers, but not the new ones, not my sort of thing. Would be fun to restore one some day!

And man, that video is crazy, nearly crapped myself at 1:10!! If you've ever had that happen to yourself, you know exactly what I mean. That must be one of the most unpleasant things in the world, unintentional wheel spin on a motorbike, especially when cornering hard! And that guy was doing 180... Sick.. :dopey:

Yeah that could've been a big highsider! And some cracked nuts  I can't say I've been in a situation like that, but it's still scary at low speeds! And painful to :guilty:

Fixed my moped a bit more today, only to find out those guys have destroyed more than I thought :banghead: They've ruined the igniton somehow, the timing is complete off 👎 Going to get me a nice secondhand one and hope it's done after that. Not planning to spend much money on that thing.. I want my motor! :D

And His R1 wanted oil.

Show me one that doesn't :sly: Hehehe

Edit:
Found a really cool old photo of me I can't resist to show off, with Da-Liks (or something). He had (or still has) the Dutch stoppie record!
wheelydalikscarlo2.jpg

If you watch closefully, you can see it's the same bike and guy! :D

We also did a very long wheelie with me on the tank with my legs over the steering and him standing on the back seat, but they didn't took a photo of that :( :( :( That's the most awesome thing I've done on a bike
