It's all good, nice one too Wiggs. Trust me, if I wasn't having fun with the club I would surely not keep racing to always come in last.

I was thinking earlier too that Forcone would be the one to lap me in his B Class, LOL. So your insult isn't too far fetched.
 
Ok...So got to watch the video...and I am impressed....So the trick is to gas it while downshifting and pressing in the clutch at the same time...seems alot of moving around..Ill give it a shot next time Im messing around...

I race barefoot.....I drive a real car barefoot most of the time since I were flip flops...So I feel more comfortable with out shoes..Socks are to slipery

That heel'n'toe technique is quite a cool thing. When I built my "rig" I positioned the pedals just that in mind, since stock Logitech G25 pedals are wayyyy too far away from each other. Now my brake and gas are about an inch apart. So technically that would be possible now, although I haven't bothered learning it. Sometimes I've tried it for fun but haven't really mastered it so it just makes me slower as it takes all my concentration instead of aiming for that apex... :lol:

About those shoes: I've tried racing a couple time with my Asics wrestling shoes (and no, I don't wrestle lol, I bought them for gym use), and they are quite good! The reason why I don't use them is that my pedals are currently in too steep angle, so my ankles keep hurting all the time. And yet I can't be bothered to take out my drill and fix them a bit... Would take like 5 mins... 💡

These are the wrestling shoes I have:

Compare to some Asics racing shoes:

I think the main difference is the base, outsole, what do you call it... :D Racing shoes have a somewhat flat base as the wrestling shoes have some extra grip there, which doesn't really annoy me when racing. The reason why I like them is because they are so flexible, almost like socks, just a bit more stiffer. :)

I use the other side of my foot when "heel toeing". Since there usually is the transmission tunnel in the way.

Congrats on the wheel! I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot. I couldn't even imagine playing any driving game without a wheel anymore. Haven't really done that since.... Like 10 years ago, or something. :lol: Forza is a completely different game with a wheel in my opinion.

But beware! I would almost guarantee that you'll completely suck, when you go out for your first drive with your new wheel :D I'm sure I did. But once you get the "feel for the wheel" (rhymes nicely) you'll be loving it! 👍

I think around 5pm my time. I don't know how late they are going to deliver the package but I sleep during the day (I'm at work now). I'm going to put up a note on my door for the postman, he MUST wake me up! So if he's early, maybe I'm early..

When you need to calibrate your gears press the start button and the one next to it at the same time. It then should show"6_n" that stands for neutral so press start when the shifter is in neutral, it will then go to "6_r" put the shifter there and press start ect.
 
Yes very nice racing, anyone else that wants random cars just friend me if you haven't already. Im cleaning the garage.

My mum thinks I should do ZOOM...other ideas were on my thread though.

You will get used to it, when I got my first wheel a dfgt I couldnt keep the cars in a straight line on gt5 :D
