You will get used to it, when I got my first wheel a dfgt I couldnt keep the cars in a straight line on gt5 :D

I'm having a little trouble with that too, it feels so twitchy sometimes I'm scared to steer :irked:

Do you have the steering set to simulation? What is the difference to normal and simulation?

The default on your wheel I think is 900 sen.........drop it down to about 520 (I think)..wont be so twitchy

You've got it backwards Kat. A lower sen setting will make the wheel more sensitive or twitchy. 900 requires more steering input so it would be less twitchy. I use 540 but it comes down to personal preference.
I had it on 180 :embarrassed:

Yeah, 180 would be pretty low. The most common settings are 270, 540, 720, and 900. Lower numbers require less steering input to turn the car, making the cars twitchy.

Will do! 👍 Hamster told me how to change it but totally forgot about it..

720 for me. I try often to turn Simulation Steering on and get used to it but for some reason it doesn't want to get along with me. *Is there an issue between the wheel and game that makes the Simulation Steering less accurate? I remember there being rumor/facts that using Normal Steering is more desirable in terms of steering accuracy?

^ Challenge accepted! LOL. I will now force myself to get used to it, perfect timing too for the Test race later this morning!

^no prob:tup:

I thought I already gave you 2...:boggled: well prepare to have a mini flood.

On a side note, please help me decide what plate I should have for my R1 on my thread at GTP, Anyone....
My mum thinks I should do ZOOM...other ideas were on my thread though.

I got a Austin from you...Im happy:cheers:

Sweet glad you liked it. :)

Also how did the practice turn out?

And on another side note, if there is anyone that didn't get a car from me?
I went from 475 car to 368, this game is worst than pokemon.

I am on fireeeeee

Way too hot! Wouldn't be that a problem if the humidity wasn't 70% right now 🤬 :irked: :ouch: :dunce:

Dang that is hot, we finally got some relief in the Midwest. Been above 90 since the end of May. A few 100+ thrown in there too. Usually 80-85 here is considered hot well after our Hell-on-Earth few months we finally got sub-90s and it felt like a cold snap. But I am one of those people who prefer hot over cold so I didn't mind too much.

On a side note, Carlos the livery I am making for your car is going to be average because it is one of those cars that has a funky grid, where placing shapes/logos isn't accurate etc. Just a heads up. I wish T10 would fix this.

I'm still trying the 'heel_toe' thing, but man it's really hard to drive my controller on the floor..i guess like they say practise makes perfedt...but I don' t know!!

Still had to show off the wheel :sly:

I can't really use the shifter right now because the pedals aren't screwed down so everytime I clutch I move the pedals or I have to put my right foot hard on the pedalplate but that's slowing me down. The reason why it's not screwed down because I'm a little bit too long for the rig. When I screw it down the pedals are too close and I can't move them up because the plate is too short, so I have to make something between the seat and the front thing of the rig, but I'm not your nextdoor handyman so I have to call in a friend and he is on vacation :ouch: So I put the pedals all up against the end of the rig, and it stays there as long as I don't use the clutch.. Works for now..

Looking good Carlos. Nice Helmet in the background, I am sure the racing gets pretty real after your pre-race ritual, LOL.

Perhaps you could 'extend the rig in the middle with a sleeve of sorts that way the seat and pedals are farther apart? It looks like that is where it comes together default so that should work, then again I am not familiar with that particular rig.

Also, if possible, try to bolt your wheel to that plate, much more secure this way, at least for me.

Hahaha  Noo I'm not racing with the helmet on! And yes feels pretty real, it's almost going too fast :odd: Sometimes I forget the FFB and the thing suddenly slips through my hand

That's correct, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding a sleeve or something. One tube goes inside the other one, and the one that goes inside is really short, pretty hard to make it longer. But I just thought of a small metal plate I just screw on the outside of the tubes, if I do that on both sides (so 4 times) it should be pretty stiff. I just have to drill holes in the metal plates on each side, or just get long metal plates and drill several holes so it's adjustable and not only good for me.. Hmmm..

I'll drill the wheel when I drill the pedals, it's not that loose but after some races I have to push it back a little bit.
