Getting 1:40's consistently using my own setup on the Leon, highest was a mid 39

Good job. I see you've taken the early lead in qualifying too....I'm currently 6th but I feel like I can shave another second off that time...but it's still early and some guys haven't even tried to qualify yet. I'm only getting clean 1:43's and a few dirty 1:42's in the Seat right now.

Wow!! I just went from 5th to 8th in the past few hours. You guys are getting quicker and quicker. Good job guys!

It's only Monday....I expect there to be a lot of movement on the qualifying leaderboard in the next few days. :)

Here's my car for the race :D

Thanks AWSOM3, Marmite, Fezz, Brains, and hennessy for racing today. :) I see Forcone has taken the top spot in qualifying, for now. :sly:

1:41.385, just squeaked into the top ten for now. I can do more, just need to get the power down better out of the hairpin.

Haven't really put a full effort into qualifying yet. Did four laps with on it, and it shows. Been mostly building, and designing my Seat. Fastest time so far for the Seat was 1:40.9. My problem is I can't get consistent lap times, out of it. I fluctuate anywhere from .2 to .9 seconds.

This Audi is really fast! I tried it a bit before going to bed yesterday. I'm fairly certain I could get it close to 1:39, even high 1:38's if I had my mind set on it. :P It'd require a completely flawless lap though, which is hard. Those top 10 overall times are just pure alien stuff once again!

Haven't started building the Seat, have to see if I'll start that project tonight :) Maybe I'll try and mimic the setup I made for the Cobalt, that seemed to do the job! :D

Now just crossing my fingers and waiting to be dropped from the top... :)

I don't know how you do it Forcone but coming out of that second corner you seem to be able to get the power down much sooner than me and pull past me on the straight towards the hairpin, you're quite early on the breaks at some places too and very late at others (turn 2 for example)

Yours was the first time I went up against and yea, you really need to work on that hairpin :)

Quick tip for everyone, never use first, second gear is good for turn 2 and that hairpin.

Anyway, the gauntlet has officially been set at 1:37.7 :D I doubt I could push it any further though, Maybe a couple tenths but that's about it.

Yeah, when I got the Rivals message I figured it was either you or DeadlyDC that put me to shame. :embarrassed: Good job...some of you guys are just too fast for me....I may try to improve on my time later in the week though. Anyway, I'm getting consistent clean low 1:42's in the Leon now...a few more tweaks and I think I can do a little better.

I haven't even started with the Leon.

As for the qualifying though, I love them DTM cars and I love Hockenheim so it suited me well :)

Fezz ST, as I spent about 40 minutes behind your ass, I think I saw few of your mistakes.
First turn - you are going too wide, therefore you can't get on the gas early. I shave about 0,2s of your time only there. And ofcourse, accelerating from hairpin - you get too much wheel spin as I can see...

However, on other turns I get destroyed by you and as result I only got ,001s better time than you :D

P.S I hate that 1st turn of Hockenheim.. With gamepad it's hit or miss..

Yeah, I started using second gear there, but it seems I either bog or boil, I gotta find that balance.

Yeah, I'm in the 1:42's as well; last week's qualifier definitely helped.

1:41's now, but I"ll feel better if I can get in the 1:40's. I definitely need to improve on my qualifying time....barely hanging on to 10th now. :ill:

My god, brilliant times!! What a competitive event once again! Have to put some more effort into it tomorrow after work! :)

Costed me 2.2 milion
Thanks for the racing today, Marmite, Carlos, Teewiggs, Fezz and Silent.

It was fun....why did everybody quit when I chose the Ford stock cars? :)
I think you could put Fezz and Carlos in a baby stroller and they'd run a 7 minute lap on the 'Ring! :sly: ...some very good drivers. Who was the whiny little kid that joined our lobby today?

I really do not like nascar :embarrassed: And I said that if Avvsome had the same colour (car) as me, I would gift him the Toyota GT1, so I did that and after that I had to leave for work :(

7 minutes is a bit optimistic, but if it were turbocharged..............

Those kids were sort of friends with Avvsome I think?

Thanks for the clean racing too guys! Some accidents here and there, but no dirty riding! :D

I don't really like Nascar either, I was just trying to switch it up a little. :) Running stock cars on different tracks really levels the playing field....I think everybody won at least one race and the finishing order was different for just about every race...but I think next time we'll run some tuned cars too...btw, I didn't wreck you on purpose on La Sarthe...even though I think that was the only race I won. :sly:

Familiar was a friend that my friend from my neighborhood added. He added him only because he had a headset (I know right). And that puts the final count, never let your friend come over and add random people with a headset :)

It didn't bother me, in fact some of you guys' commentary during and after the races is hilarious....I wish I could record it and play it back on the forums.
