I think that was someone else. I think I was fighting for position with Chris in the opening turns, after the crash.
 
Sounds like you guys had a good race...and I'm glad nobody was taken out by network problems during the race! :cheers: Congrats Fezz! Hopefully I'll be at home for next week's race.
 
I got t-boned like crazy :lol: spun out becaus of that, and never made it back, damn Forcone and Fezz were fast!! Got some nice racing today with Hamsterman though!

Great race, Forcone and Deadly kept me pretty honest during the whole race, one mistake would have seen a different outcome :lol:

I expected him to slow down as I was turning in right behind Carlos, but I got hit at the front and...well you can see what happened to Carlos!

What an epic epic race!! (sorry Wiggs! :D ) Just couldn't match Fezz's speed! Lightning fast! I ran almost constant 1:40.6's though, which surprised me! Fezz's best clean was a bit under 1:40.3...? Had one of the best battles in my life with Deadly for the second!! Thanks for that! 👍 And no issues whatsoever with the Xbox or the wheel! (And it RROD'ed again yesterday) :D

looks like it was a great Race.. The pace would have been a bit quick for me.. I only managed 1.42's myself.. It's in the garage for the next time..

Yeah that was probably the best race so far, 1st Fezz hunted me down then you :nervous:
I just couldn't let you take 2nd without a fight :cheers:

edit* Ouch Carlos, I just prayed to get round that corner without THAT! :boggled:
 
And I will add to having enjoyed myself as well, fantastic time with you SilentDrifterGT and SatansReverance. But I just dont know what happened with the SR8, It was pinned but maybe a gust of wind got me at the end.:) Good job either way carlos. And nice finish Fezz and Forcone.
 
I was too tired to do consistently fast times so I tried to make up for that by being hard to pass.

Unfortunately that made Chris spin because he hit me in an awkward way.

Yeah, I had a really good run coming out of the corner and couldnt get the car turned to get beside you so I was trying to just get you square on your rear and draft you but it upset my car when I bumped you and wrecked myself. Seems like every race I find myself just a tiny bit over aggresive and I mess it up. I need more consistencey. I was running consistent 41s in practice but only managed one 41.9 during the race.

BTW I will be announcing this week's events in the morning.

Yeah, it was a good battle. We were both side by side, going into turn one, and staying side by said until turn 5, where the turn finally was in my favor, to be able to pass. You kept the pressure up too, until you hit that barrier, and spun out at that chicane, before the last turn.

Edit: Also was nice, to be able to finish 4th, when starting from last position.

Edit Again: Made a short video of the battle between the two of us.

Car: Seat Leon Supercup modded and tuned for A-Class (FWD only)

Track: Infineon IRL, 16 laps
 
We had a few laps around infineon tonight..

Started working on a setup, just in case the qualifying is kind and the network gods shine on me for the weekend..
Still a way to go 1:43's look o.k. at this point in time.. I'm sure that there is more.

Good job on the livery BTW. I should have my Cockpit up and ready by tomorrow evening so I will be back racing with the club.

:lol: I was hoping you got that part that we went neck and neck into it. The funny part was I was thinking how I shouldn't hit that barrier.:banghead:

We Don't have Menards in the UK,B&Q might be the closest thing to them. It was a logo I had so I put it in as a placeholder.. whilst I work on the other one, but it looks o.k.

Right on, I was just wondering due to them being a midwest home improvement chain, thought maybe they were expanding, LOL.....big time!
 
Ran a few laps in Rivals mode to get a feel for the Audi....my best clean time isn't that great so far, but I think I'll be able to make top 12 once I put in a few more laps. That Seat is kicking my butt though. I'm gonna have to put a lot of time into tuning that car. :banghead:
