Works for me. Never played a GT game, so this will be a nice way to try it out.
i recommend anyone joining to this discussion to review several pages back, much has been said and discussed on why this trailer and Demo came out...OK I read the trailer was bad, but I was not prepared for that. I have no words.
that's one of the think we have been moaning about, please Kaz give us the ability to customize our HUD.... like fully customize it silly....You cannot remove the flags from the HUD in GT7, here they're gone.
It's honestly cool. No bs. No sarcasmWhether that's genuine or /s, it made me grin regardless.
Country flags. They are featured, fictional AI names or not.Flags?
It’s a pretty big threshold to download and install [insert size of GT7 here] just to try it out for 24 hours. This is a very stupid idea and a waste of time for everyone all around.
It's not a technical demo because it's compatible with PS4, four years after the PS5 launched.
Just give everyone a 24h period to play the game for free. That's how other studios do it for games.
But that would involve PD learning something from other studios instead of handicapping development for future games releasing demos for a game that's been out 2 1/2 years
Not sorry to tick your inner Mr.Monk, but it already is in the game, just in different numbers that are not as easy to understand for beginner players. No, leave that for arcade games.
But why ??? It is a demo to attrack NEW players, and maybe to lure back some who played in the past but did not get GT7 (but I doubt that, if those who already like GT franchise did not buy GT7 yet, they surely have reasons that a demo will probably not change). New players don't have a clue about how GV was and how it is now.It would have been a good timing to re-release grand valley Speedway in it's original layout & location
I don't see why a demo (of any game) is a bad idea, except if the game is so bad that the producer prefers hyping the game with marketing and lure a maximum number of player to buy it before realising it is bad. If the game is good, a demo is a good way to attract new players to give them a glimpse of what they could get if they buy the full game after. This is a very stupid idea and a waste of time for everyone all around.
Who said it was going to be a technical demo ?It's not a technical demo because it's compatible with PS4, four years after the PS5 launched.
This or a demo are 2 good ways to attract new players. But the demo is much easier to download and install and it gives a quick overview of what's in the game (plus it hides some bad aspects of it, like roulette or game economy...). Plus 24H is a very short time frame.Just give everyone a 24h period to play the game for free. That's how other studios do it for games.
Can you imagine that there are people not enough interested in GT to buy it just to see how it is ? Now they have a free demo, quick to install, which will give them a proper idea (not complete though... they are in for some surprises with the full game).I would have thought that if anyone was truly interested in GT, they would have tried it by now.
I havent paid attention to any game being free for 24h to try and then decide whether it is worth it or not.Just give everyone a 24h period to play the game for free. That's how other studios do it for games.
Yep! If pre orders for GT8 went live today I’d definitely buy it!I highly doubt that. Everyone who is a fan of the racing/driving genre, if they have a Playstation, is going to buy Gran Turismo games - even if they aren’t very good.
Gotta go fast
You could probably argue the Challenger is GT2, there's not a massive difference there between it and the one that featured in GT5.These 7 are from the post-PS2 era:
- (PSP) Lamborghini Countach LP400 ’74
- (GT5) Dodge Challenger R/T ’70
Should take 2-3 hours for experienced GT players to complete.
I guess you're at the top and the rest of those times are down under.
Was going to say this as well. Suppose I'll get mine too.I guess you're at the top and the rest of those times are down under.
I'll get my coat...
How are you able to play? I set my timezone to NZ but I can't see it in the store
It's server-side time, so you need to connect to a store that's already passed midnight. Console time isn't relevant. How are you able to play? I set my timezone to NZ but I can't see it in the store
