Yea, it's unbelievable damn slow. Currently 5 mb in 15 minutes here. :crazy:

I think i'll give it in one week again a try. I am not stupid and idle my PS3 for a full freakin' week just to download 4 gb! Oh god Sony, you guys won't never learn it, eh?! :dunce:


PS: if you get booted back (Error ...) & you can't find the free games again, here is a tip:

Q: I no longer have the option to choose my free Welcome Back games. What can I do?
A: If you navigate away from the Welcome Back section of the store without choosing your free games or exit the store completely you may need to follow the below in order to choose and download your free games.

  • On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
  • Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
  • Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
  • Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”
You will be taken to the store to choose your remaining free games.

If I let my PSN+ expire and thus lose games downloaded (eg Burnout), can I get this back if I sign up again at a later date? My apologies if already answered, I might have missed this.

(I know I can keep the gift by the way)
 
I am satisfied for the 30 days of Playstation Plus suscription. However the games seems to me dissapointing, with the exception of Ratchet and Clank.
 
This is great, I managed to download Ratchet and Clank in time, but now I can't access any other games, and it says I have 0 remaining games. I got this message before it said 0 remaining: "This content is included in []. You must first purchase []."

I've checked my cart, checked in every place I can think about, and it looks like I've lost a game.
 
Now that I know Infamous has been corrupted while installing, after 15 hours of downloading with the PS3 on overnight, I am pissed. Restart the 15 hours.

You can play them on any account on the system. I downloaded LBP and Wipeout on my main and Infamous and Dead Nation on my GTP and all 4 are playable on both.

I hate Dead Nation with a passion. I arrived on the first level and it was just a horrid experience 👎 Waste of a free game slot. Good thing I have my GTP_tag account :lol:
 
I had a feeling Dead Nation was going to suck when I saw a review of it.
Immediatly saw it wasn't my cup of tea.
 
DN does not suck. It may not be everyone's bag of tea I understand, but for this type of game it is of a very high quality.
 
Dead Nation would be way better if they had the controls right, it's way harder than it should be to shoot an object. Other than that it seems like a solid game.

Loving the other 3 games though.

No problems here, I'm going through it enjoying it thoroughly. Totally worth it IMO as someone who doesn't like Wipeout or R&C and already owned LBP I took the plunge with DN and InFamous and am very happy. Not finding it difficult to hit things, and I did my research so I was aware of the nature of the game. The fact it's not dead easy to shoot things is a good thing to me, I don't want it to be easy, but it's not difficult to hit the mark either. There's alot of little intricacies in the gameplay which you pick up and things improve once you upgrade your weapons a bit as the stock rifle is so slow.

+1. In addition as you progress they do a good job of introducing new enemies and scenarios that make you change up strategy. And I've only made it through level 4 so far. It really is a surprisingly good game IMHO :).
 
My download of InFAMOUS keeps timing out. :(

I had no problems with WipeoutHD, although I regret the download of it. It just seems way too hard to control (best so far was 4th, on the easiest setting). Maybe I just need to try a different race, ship, etc.
 
Its taken me nearly two days to download the four games I don't already have, (I've been busy watching racing online with most of my bandwidth) and I've just tried to load Dead Nation only to be told there's a 182 MB patch to download!

Frustrating, it took me about 24 hours to download inFamous, but at least LBP was quick! I'm chuffed, 2 free games is fine by me any day.
 
I have LBP, about to choose my other two (four if it lets me use my second account) now, a little dissappointed that Super Stardust HD isn't available in the UK but jeez I can't complain!

I think perhaps Sony are shooting themselves in the foot a little that the Playstation Plus games will only work whilst you remain a member, if they are trying to get more interest in PP+ i'm not sure that's a good plan but their call and again, the (short term) benefit is free.

So Wipeout and Infamous it is, and the other two if it lets me :)
 
If anyone would be willing to let me download R&C off their account, please lemme know. I have all the NA games so we could just trade info. PM me.
 
Question about the downloading of games or content.

It's been a while since i have downloaded anything so i forgot how it works.

Can you play a game while the download is going on or do you have to stay in the playstation store the whole time?
