I haven't driven that, but if it's anything like the Lotus 49 @ Monza '66, I'd be game.

Not really, it's a big boat of a car with possibly the most luxurious dashboard of any racing car ever made. I quite like it though, it's pretty good for a mod car, and has a really "vintage" feel to driving it. 👍

Dat woodgrain.

Rainmaker warns that his '88 tracks may not be suitable for some mod cars.

Since I'm not sure how the Jag will handle them, and I have no time to test in the next 24 hours, I think it'd be safer to pick a track that we know will work.

Let's go with Monza 66

8 to 10 lappers most likely. I'll try to update OP, but I'm working 12 hours days right now and don't have much time.

Knowing I work this Saturday, I dunno if I'll have the 'drive' to make this or not, but I'll keep my head up & see how the rest of the week goes.

Not a particularly good car for close racing.

There's a few of us left goofing around at LeMans with the 787B & C9

Yeah.

I've never raced at Magione before. I'm not convinced it's a great track for racing, but I want to find out.

Let's recreate the very first Early Access build and run the Elise SC.

I like most of the track, but there's one turn (I believe it's turn 4 or 5) that's incredibly sharp and almost requires you to slow down to about 5mph to get around it. Probably my most hated turn in the game (for stock content anyway). But in a small, nimble car like the Elise it probably won't be too bad. 👍

Back from the dead!

Sorry for the short notice. Check out the OP for tonight's details.

I think I'm around this evening, should be able to join up. Never driven the car though, so I'll be the Backmarker Champion.

not necessarily... I have not driven it yet either ;)

These guys are always fun to run with, and most racers out there will learn a thing or two trying to follow Brindle and Wizard around the track. I always do.

Hope to see a few more newcomers or oldtymers join tonight!!

Changed my notifications to email for this thread. Wish I'd seen it earlier.

The F3 is a blast.

Hopefully catch you next week.

It's a really fun combo for sure. Participation was a little low tonight so I've decided to run the same combo again next week.

I'll update the OP sometime tomorrow. Hopefully with a little more notice we can get a decent sized crowd out there.

I need a triple monitor setup before I join an online race.

I'm using a FOV of 17.06 without any peripheral vision. If I join an online race with this single monitor setup, it will be a wreckfest instead of a race. :D

And I don't want that.

Have you ever tried the HeliCorsa app? It's a nice little radar that shows when cars are around you and even turns red to let you know when one is along side. Not as good as triples but very helpful, I use it on my triple screen setup.

I forgot to visit the AC forum for a few days and I missed this. Hopefully I can make it next week. I got a chance to run the original version of the F3 and while I'm not usually a fan of modern open wheelers, I really liked it. It was grippy but forgiving at the same time.
