I might to a track day next week. Pick a handful of cars to put on the server and just goof around all night on the Green Hell. If a race breaks out, great.

I'd vote for the regular Nordschleife version so we don't have to pull into the pits every lap. But, the Touristenfahrten layout would be more like a proper track day. I plan to use the regular version in the GVRC soon, just trying to find a good car to race there.

I'm going to try a different strategy tonight. Normally I start with beer and then switch to scotch, but tonight I'm going to start off with scotch and then switch over to beer later. 👍

I forgot to mention that this is indeed what I plan on doing Friday night. I'm not going to change the OP for it. Just a fun night, lapping the Green Hell with friends.

Nordschleife Tourist allows for 32 vehicles on the server so I'm probably going to pick 16 cars that tickle my fancy and put 2 of each on the server.

Pick a car, drive a lap or two. Hop out, grab another car, drive a lap or two. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I feel bad requesting a car when work may keep me from even making it, like last week. But it's just so fun to drive anywhere. :-)

I'll definitely not make the Fri Mar 18 since I'll be at the Sebring 12hr race. I somehow lucked free flight / free tix...

Tried the new pCars dlc tonight, and... not impressed. It's worth the low $ but kept wanting to quit and go to AC. Much better, ahhh.

Fun stuff tonight, that was my first track day and I enjoyed it.

Somehow I managed to get the Yellowbird around a full lap. It wasn't the bravest lap but I brought it home in one piece and kept it mostly clean. There's laps from a few other cars (XBow, M3, GT-R) on the YouTubes.

For me it was a good way to test cars for future events. Expect to see the same thing in the near future, but with more focus on race cars.

Edit: Oh and according to RSR leaderboards, there were some sub 7 cars out there!

Fri Nite beat down fun for me piloting on the Ferrari 458 for 10 continuous laps! I'm surprised the doors were still on it by the end of my session. Thanks to all for a few great sector battles and I hope to join in more on the fun going forward. Thank you Wiz for all you do for the AC Online Community here on GTP. 👍
