So, have you figured out which cars are candidates for the last slot in the GT-O class? One make that doesn't have a car in that class is Ford. Would the Mustang Mach 1 '71 sound ridiculous?

Too late for this current season (1950s / 1960's).

Europa? :D Though I'm sure it might be just a little too slow. I would also say Cobra but there is already a strong Shelby presence. Maybe the Dino, but that isn't until later years. The in-game car may be a '71 but you could sneak it in since it started production in '68 right? ;)

Dino and 365GTB to debut down the line :)

Yes please! So much potential for the new track.

Indeed. However the bigger news for now is this image handed in to us, which appears to not only in a surprise move confirm the return of the Nordschleife, but a debut in the WSC for BMW with the 507 model.

I can also confirm this rounds out the track and grid roster and work is well underway on all the assets (banners / race posters / car pictures), although with around 35 images to select from, it's a while

ooooooohhhh now I'm definitely unsure of what car to use!
:P

So does this mean you're going to push forward with the series despite the tire issue?

Right, the issue with different tyre wear has been fixed. However pit glitches still exist I understand, and physics changes after a stop. However, I am pressing on with creation and preperation of the thread. Much of the GT-O specs are still rough, they will require testing to be finally tweaked and altered, so making it public will do no harm. It also worked for ToCA this season.

This is going to make things interesting. Wow, I actually added something/influenced this series a bit.
Thank you, Furinkazen. Also, do you have a clear date for the start of the season yet? I need time to earn some credits. I'm only at 869,342!!! :embarrassed:

I mentioned it, I was just surprised that you said that you planned to have it compete even though I thought you thought it shouldn't be included.

No I just randomly sell people dummies to chuck them off track. Anyway more should be done by time day is done.

Good luck to all who are in WSC this season. I will not be there but I will be keeping an eye on proceedings.

 Ed.

Also with the partnership with the Group 4 series, we should be able to guarantee full grids. :)

That would be the tyre wear.

Edit: Doesn't really matter anyway, no hope I'm returning to this game until PD make it bearable.

Some (not all) cars have significantly increased understeer after a pit stop on racing tyres. The R8 LMS Oreca for example, which is either broken or has a terrible default setup that makes it snap oversteer mid corner for no reason on racing tyres, is a second a lap faster around brands indy after a pit stop. I didn't do any tests long enough to tell if tyre wear was increased.
