I'd take the Fairlady. Loved that car on GT4 and would love a chance to finally race it, like on GT5 where I got to race a Lancer Evo VII in a VLN race.

That Fairlady was my first car in GT5 and put a mad grin on my face when I ran my first laps in it. :D

You really are ToCAs Rob Austin. Team boss who just drove into people and played victim card after :P @paulmac2k9
I came so close to saying **** it early in my ToCA career it's a wonder I still race with you guys. My second race ever you and Paul got into a battle to see who could kill the other and i ended up in the wall because of it.

Then I came back towards the end of the season and got punted by Tom, one of the cleanest guys I've ever raced with, and realized it was the series, not the drivers.

EDIT: Volvo OP.

I remember my first ever ToCA race where 'Cowboys' straightlined the bus stop at Spa (wrecking me in the process) then Chqr causing a huge pile up in the reverse grid race wiping out half the field

There's just one difference, I've never owned an Audi. I do have some Austin style shades however, for maximum effect! And you must remember I didn't always drive into people, sometimes people drove into me *cough the mad Volvo S60s cough* ;)

Just what are you trying to say Furi? I was never a "team boss".. Also I have pace to win unlike you or Austin :sly:.

BH GP 80's was definitely one that came to mind for me as well. I also like Motegi (probably East) for these cars. Rome is also a good idea. Was thinking some more tracks that have that "vintage" feel to it.

What about Ascari and Tokyo 246?

I agree about Ascari, and I agree with Furi about Tokyo. I always hated that track.

LMAO you really hate that track don't you? Monaco is a winner for me. Authentic and has a fantastic racing history.

Monaco is cool, but in most cases produces utter chaos in races.

@snowgt Deep Forest Raceway?

Not a bad track, but I think there are enough "real" tracks we can find for a couple of race-meetings.

What I originally had suggested was Sierra and Nordschleife, but people might not share my love of loooong tracks.

Also, what do people think about light vs. heavy damage...? Light damage might be less frustrating, heavy damage could be promoting cleaner driving. Probably "light" is the better choice, right?

Firstly I want a few more than a couple of race meetings. Secondly I also like Sierra but if each race is only about 30 minutes Sierra could be a bit too long.

Also I think that the drivers in the FRL are good enough to have full damage in place. Like you say it promotes cleaner driving.

Very much looking forward to this series

I guess it all depends on people's attendance. If it's a success, why not keep it going?

These cars can lap Sierra in about 10:30, so 3 laps would be a good race distance.

Full damage does have the problem though, that if you receive damage, your race is over, especially, if it's a shorter race. For endurance you get the opportunity to make up some time, but in 30 minutes without pitstops that's pretty much impossible. So, even though I might personally favour heavy damage, I think it's probably better to go with light to keep the field as tightly packed as possible.

Austin who?

Hi, I'm Rob Austin. But you can call me ****ing maniac.
