Clios are fun too, nice to throw around without a care in the world. Perfect for the gang here.
And Clios and Juniors are on the real life bill , you got PS4 version?

Yes, but I'm at a disadvantage by not having a wheel. And I don't feel like buying a new one yet.And Clios and Juniors are on the real life bill , you got PS4 version?
I was recently saddened to hear about the passing of one of GTPlanet's premier motorsport series. Along with the death of the great series known as ToCA, it's time to say goodbye to a few more residents...
I first competed in @rolo912011's BTCC Series way back in Season 4 in February 2013 with the privateer team, Humberside Racing. Come Season 5 and Season 6, the team began to expand into one of the larger and more competitive teams on the field, helping to bring Ford to its manufacturer's title in Season 5. We had some very good talents over them times including good friends who I had met in general GT5 lounges.
As well as some other oddments that HSR has took part in, our other main focus was the ToCA Series led by @Furinkazen where we ran as the Works Team for Renault with the Megane for a number of Seasons. Some great talents also came through the team including @Andil, @rolo912011 as well as a whole list of others. The Renault wasn't always the strongest but I felt it brought a great amount of character to the Series, and I really enjoyed being part of the ToCA Campaign with Renault.
However, after a personal tragedy in September 2014, I took some time away from the track and was planning on making a return in an upcoming Season of ToCA. However, this was not to be. So alongside the death of ToCA, I took the difficult decision to hang up the racing boots and gracefully lay HSR to rest. My time with Online Racing has now passed, and with many personal opportunities on the horizon, I felt it was for the right reasons. Soon, I shall be no longer active on PlayStation Network as I shall be selling my PlayStation 3 onto a new home, to make space in my office space to expand and be able to achieve more ambitions in life.
I would like to thank everyone who has took the time and dedication to support myself and the team throughout these last few years, especially the hosts and superior drivers who have took the time to help me improve my skills behind the wheel and improve my general race craft. Most of all, thank you everyone for making GTPlanet racing such a great thing to be a part of!
I also have posted a farewell message on the HSR Website: http://humbersideracing.webs.com/
Thank-You guys for everything, god bless you all.
For all the jokes, and the fact you were generally the Rob Austin of the field (team boss who can be quick, but also is a bit of a twit on track ), it has been damn great fun Jason. Thank you for your time, it's appreciated and certainly, you'll be a character around the FRL Paddock who will be missed. Good luck Jason.
Furi.
I'm waiting for the Laguna in PCARS...I don't do GT6 anymore, but in case you guys have a PS4, I play Project CARS pretty often and Driveclub looks fun as well.
I'd like to take this opportunity and gauge people's interest in the previously hinted at Historic Touring Car Cup. If nobody else is hosting it, I might actually do it myself, because I'd sure like to have some fun in these babies. I'm completely open to suggestions as to which day and what time-slot most people prefer, if there's enough interest.
Here's some cornerstones of what you could expect:
- Sports Hard tyres
- Racing Soft Suspension for RWD (so no setups necessary apart from gears)
- Racing Hard Suspension & LSD for FWD (I'm open to discussion about whether or not to include FWD cars)
- Cars are BoP'd and average at about 200hp & 800kg.
- Used tracks are open to suggestion
- As a race format I would be leaning towards 2 30-minute races with reverse grid.
I'm not seeing this as a hardcore series that should be taken too seriously, but good driving standards would be expected nevertheless.
As a reminder, these are the cars that would be used (although please mentally cross out the Gordini and the VW 1200 as I couldn't bring them enough in line with the others)...
