For anyone wanting to relive snows lap of death

From scania

And trying to miss furi

I have to say I've really enjoyed the evoque this season but its really a car you had to drive flat out which was hard as if the car got a touch in a corner or lost grip for a second then it was gone and difficult to control.

Spent the first part of the reason trying to work the car out then due to the power and weight disadvantage finally managed to get the gearbox and BB tune sorted from spa onwards. The gearbox really was the key as it was really short ratio so when other people were still pulling another 1-2 gears i was already in 6 hoping not to hit the rev limiter which was great with the 4WD advantage out of the corners but then just hope that the other person hadn't caught up by the end of the straight but the car also had amazing brakes.

And to think if i hadn't missed ascari the rangey might have won the independants championship on its first and maybe only season.

Despite the bad results for me i've enjoyed the latter half of the season. Clios encouraged me as well with strong pace against a lot of these guys. Bathurst I am going to wring the neck of the Focus. It's my most driven track on GT6 and I love it.

I think I was the only independent to run all of the races and by the end of the season I only won by around 30 or so points from you as I really struggled yesterday

will be interesting to see when furi brings out the full points how close it would be if we had drop rounds, so i could drop ascari and if you dropped your worst how close it would have been, although i did throw it away in race 1.

36 pts.
That's what Scania did to me in Race 1 except it was right after the corner exit.

Yeah annoying I got punted off then. Got a good pic though of it, full countersteering!

Exit of Graham Hill.

Scania, calm down. Stop leaning on me! What the 🤬 *spinning*

Well, that sort of things happens when you can't see another car in the race. I didn't see or even feel impact on Scania's car. I do remember seeing Furi spin out, and wondered why that had happened. Well, little did I know that I had pushed an invisible car into him. I guess, if there had been championships left to be decided, we should have postponed. There were just too many people invisible to each other.

In GT5 when there were invisible cars, at least 2 cars usually couldn't see each other - in GT6 apparently sometimes one sees the other, but that one can't see a third, and that one…

I thought i would post it so you could see how it looked, it was rather helpful for me

Guise, there's two months and 11 days to the end of GT5 server... I beleve we should head there one last time, pay our honours to it with ToCA11..

Mine's Brands Hatch Indy. Take a wild guess as to why.

I don't even really like the Indy version.

If it weren't for this it'd probably be La Sarthe 2005 NC judging by the amount of times I've lapped the MKIV round there.

Yes Stig... we need to finalise final couple car specs!

Doesn't tell what exhaust you've got though...

Furi could use his detective skills and compare cars... just sayin'. At Brands Indy, he managed to identify one of the Fords (Joe I think?) to be slightly off-spec.

... And he gets nothing and I lose 4 wins... 👍

and the whining continues... I love reading the TOCA threads during a controversy :P

Well this time they're legitimate. Anyhow, guess i'll drop the bomb. Pugs out. Car #9 is TBC next week...
