I didn't say before, but the media night victory at Willow Springs was after i'd had a fair bit of champagne :P

@Ninners just makes me think of this noise

Anyone been doing laps of Mount Panorama?

I did a couple of laps yesterday, mainly because I had done so little running on the track before, that I had to find reasonable brake markers to begin with. I found it quite tricky to get the gearing right so it doesn't feel like some gear is too long or too short on at least one part of track. I'm still not perfectly happy, but it might have something to do with the fact that the Honda doesn't have the wide powerband of some other cars, and yet you have to stretch those gears over a wide range of speeds. Ended up with mid 2:15's.

Firmly stuck in 2:17 here. With it being Aussie GP weekend I may run a special green and gold livery.

Also Willow Springs Big Willow returns to the ToCA schedule for T11 :)

Feels for me like Bathurst is a bit strange in terms of which parts are really important for lap time. I found that the first sector is by far the most important one, or even the first corner. If you get that wrong, you carry that speed deficit all the way up the hill and lose eons of time, especially in lower torque cars. And the first corner for me, as plain as it is, is also the most difficult, as I haven't found a brake marker that's really plain to see at all possible times of day. :yuck:

Really tough. Sometimes you just turn and you don't go in. "Hell Corner" indeed.

Ninners, don't worry, I'm very much a touring car driver, group c/DS3= death.

Edit: Funnier yet, I don't know if I'll be able to race.

I'm a DS3er and i'm fine with Group C :P

@Carbonox, my dictionary entry needs a little update. How about something along the lines of "Horrific livery creator, massive points earner"?

How many podiums did you have apart from the Spa* win? :P

*Reverse grid :P

Also @Carbonox the alien bit is outdated, I only finished 7th right? :P

Now I see. Oh wait @Furinkazen was not pleased after Clio's. I swear he was about to add more points.
I was a good boy in Clio's. The final round stuff was all banter, and I think the only contact we had was when me and Scanny were killing each other

On another note, who is the youngest ever ToCA winner?

I think i'm the most average driver in ToCA history, every race was a battle for anywhere between 4th to 7th
