I held back from mentioning anything but enough is enough...

Almost every single reverse grid race you have some sort of braking mishap when trying to overtake me, which end with me being shoved wide, or sent against some other car...

With the pace advantage you have shown so far, I really don't see the need for you to force so many passes, when clearly they come naturally over the course of the races

*general note - alien dirvers and / or near aliens have very good early race passing capabilities, I remember @Spurgy 777 and @gokartman78 telling me about it :)

Brilliant weekend for the CJR Nissan with a 7th, 3rd and 8th place finish for me which means I can breath easily as I am miles clear of 13th. Solid pace all weekend and even qualified 5th behind the works Volvo and Hyundai entries.

Still think the Nissan is down on power as event the 2nd slowest car, the Hyundai, was pulling away from me on the straights

The Mazda and the Volvo were gapping me two-three car lengths in the draft. That's why I got stuck behind Furi and later Skeng because I wasn't going to divebomb them. Not to say they weren't fast! 53.046 was my fastest in R2 with Ovlov draft.

That Renault was quick as well!

Weekend fastest was a 53.9, average quickest race lap was a 54.2, race average was a 55.0.

I do understand where you are coming from this. Again I do apologise for any inconvenience caused from my manoeuvres. These aren't intentional and I don't mean to do these sort of things to other drivers (especially at the start of the reverse grid races where things are really hectic). Of course at this stage of the race you are trying to clear slower cars as best as you can without doing any boneheaded moves whilst trying to keep out of trouble and not get taken out.

I do think almost my errors were at Turn 1, again this braking zone is relatively short and the corner itself is very tight and passing people on the inside is actually hard to execute because of the fact that there is 1 line through there and the fact that the braking zone is so short. Some cars which you get stuck behind you have to brake much earlier (earlier than usual) just to avoid hitting them.

I remember in Race 3 when we were 3 wide I believe with me on the very inside and slightly ahead and you in the middle and you got squeezed and lost a lot of ground, now at that moment I braked slightly earlier to account for the angle of the corner and the cars ahead but when I got to the actual apex I ended up pushing you into the car on the outside causing you to lose speed and get mugged from all angles. I guess when I'm put in situations like this where I have a very tight angle for the corner I should back out of the move and sit back a little bit, not just in this situation and in others too.

Any feedback will be listened to and I'll try my best to improve and keep others happy :)

Would have been interesting to see where you were .2 faster than me each lap Nin. I think it was the straights in all honesty, but I could be wrong :)

Sort of, but not really, fast drivers don't necessarily have the ability to predict where gaps are going to appear, they just have the ability to put themselves cleanly into more difficult gaps than others might be able to. So in other words, being fast does help with getting through the field, but you still need to know how to overtake. :)

Now why are you tagging me noob coward?

Did you get out in the Atom at all Ben?

Yeh at Silverstone, but didn't do too well, still need more practice in the car before to get up with the front guys as I haven't really been in the car much at all. Did make some good TV though with a 100mph spin going onto the national straight :P

Will you be doing it next year?

Our plans are to stick with the TR7 but there's a very nice TVR Tuscan Challenge with a Rover V8 up for £26,000 that we've been considering buying as a second car. 410bhp and slicks is a big step up though ;) Simon Hadfield had a go in the TR7 on Wednesday and has given us some pointers, we should be a good second fast next season. He want to have a race in it as well!

Can I have a go in it if I ask nicely? xx

Id like to have a go too ;) Only driven it around the paddock so far. I'm getting my ARDS done for the 2016 season and me and dad will be sharing it.

How did brands go? I would have been down for the formula ford festival with Ben Mitchell but we're saving the car for Walter Hayes next weekend :)

I'm going to try and do Formula Fords next year, although its unlikely that I will be able to do all of the races unless I can find a sponsor. :(

Where you taking your ARDS?

Mallory probably. I don't think you can do it at Donington, although it would be ideal if I could do it there as it takes me 25 minutes to walk to DP entrance gates :D

How would you go about finding a sponsor? I've never considered it really.
