Has anybody else got the feeling that Furi has signed Spurgy for next season? I mean he's liking all the posts where we mock his blatant lack of pace and that's odd, not to mention him saying Spurgy isn't replacing me only to announce him 3 days later...

You and @Andil should feel proud that Furi's pulling out all the stops and bending/breaking his own rules just to compete with you two next season. 👍

I, for one, think it's great to have as many good drivers in the series as possible. I always thought the no-alien-rule was not a good idea.

Saying that, I just hope Furi doesn't bend the rules in such a way for next season that there will be a Ninners-Andil-Spurgy 3-car team.

I agree (Although ToCA's best season was one with no aliens). However, I think Furi should've said Spurgy could race if he wanted before the season started, instead of randomly canning the rule midseason to benefit RPM.

Tbh I do think Twissy got thrown under the bus in S8 just because he was an alien.

I thought he got pissed because he was excluded from 3 races for running ABS 10 and left on his own accord? ABS 10 doesn't make a massive difference but it does make a difference. Then again back then you could change it in the RA menu mid race anyway so you could never be sure. I only used it to tweak BB for different corners for some series and some tracks. I did it a lot at Monza.

Being excluded from all 3 races for having ABS10 was completely out of order and its unlikely it would have happened to anyone else. Plus Furi knew about it after the first race and didn't say anything. (Silly Furi )

But anyway, if you guys had been paying attention (instead of spamming k ) you would have known the no alien rule was removed a while ago, unless Furi put it back in. I didn't race this season because I didn't want to, but I'm fine with a one off at Spa.

At what specific point was it taken away? In all honesty, with Nin and Andil dominating there's no reason for you to not be welcomed back, but it's the way Furi did it that bothers me more than anything.

Is it steeper than what you have been assuming with what you have seen on TV and on GT6 and other racing sims or have the pictures been doing them justice?

A lot steeper than the sims lead you to believe also the last corner onto the pit straight is a lot tighter than you would think.

The Volvo lost 5HP after Monza which was 3 weeks ago.
