Would having -1.00 rear toe contribute to tire smokery? :dopey:

Well if that's the case, then I'm screwed. If I don't go full lock the car won't turn, even with a setup that gives the greatest amount of oversteer possible. :(

In my experience the rears don't really smoke that much on a FWD, no matter what. Look at the replay to see, if it's front or rears. If it's the front tyres, you can at least make it better with the LSD. I had similar issues with the Mazda once. Try playing with the acceleration settings.

Was this decision made in order for your prediction to be correct? :P

@Furinkazen clearly has it rigged. He really is the grand puppet-master!

Seriously though, I think @Ninners is still hands down championship favourite as he was the fastest guy at BH Indy. The cars seem to be very close though - difference was about 1-2 tenths, but that could just as well have been difference in driving performance. The Volvo seems to be a bit better at acceleration while the Hyundai has the typical RWD advantages. Tyre wear was unexpectedly high for me though at the front left (down to 7), so I wasn't really able to turn this into an advantage late in the races. Faster tracks are a slight worry compared to the Volvo, but the S60 has a comparably narrow power-band, so maybe that will come into play there.

If I have the acceleration on 60, would that cause it?

Teams championship is going to be close too as it stands at the moment.

Any Cape times? I did a 17.0 the other night.

Looks like the margin will be greater there. Just did a couple of laps with a best of 17.5. Didn't feel like I could find half a second more. At least, not without trying something hazardous in the chicane. Let's hope Cape continues to murder FF-front wheels. Although I'm afraid it will murder mine, too...

Was murdering my tyres when I tested there pre-season. 17s sound right, think I got to 17.3 in first session.

PS - Look, on-board video, wow!

PPS - I started last because I wanted to go and have a chat with the marshals at Turn 3 in Qualifying and they turned out to be pretty decent guys, much banter.

Car feels pretty good. Main concern will be tyre wear and the exit of the final chicane but we do have good top speed down the pit straight so hopefully we can use that to our advantage. I did a 17.6 in the Hyundai myself about a month ago with a setup that could be improved.

Can't really remember, but I believe my best on pre-season was around those times...

Will try and run a few laps tonight or tomorrow morning before I go to work

Brilliant drive!

@Furinkazen when will you be posting the points tables as you said that they would be up today or have the stewards been given something else to discuss that wasn't brought up the first time

Oh man:scared:,this means I need more training and tuning if I want to get to Q2.

BTW What speed did you had on main straight ?

What threw me off driving at Cape was that they changed the painting on the pit wall in GT6. I kind of lost my braking point there as I was looking for the yellow zone and now it's all grey. Haven't found a new one yet.

I just checked his room and all his tables were broken.. Now his messy room is even worse :sly:.

Okay first things first:
