Audi fest. :CI was How did the racing go? I was too busy sing oasis in a field
I got back from having a drink with some friends about 4 hours after the Skype call, had just finished update 16
Was a tough one for sure! I was expecting to finish second at best but when I noticed false start was on I knew I had an opportunity to challenge off the line and give myself the track position I needed to attempt to win the race. The first three laps or so I was controlling my pace a little just to make sure I didn't make any mistakes because I knew I'd probably be harder on the tyres compared to you and Spurgy. I think it was around lap 6 where my front tyres started going off and the gap started to come down but I had recognised where you were gaining in comparison to me. The gap always closed in the first sector and you'd be all over me through s2 before I'd pull a small gap in s3 to give myself a good gap in the last sector but because my tyres were going away my advantages were too as I was struggling off the corners much more compared to earlier in the race.Race 1 was amazing, great racing between Nin, Spurgy and I. Not many overtakes but the race-long pressure was huge, was 100% pace the whole race and one mistake would have cost either of us a position.
I was hoping I might be able to get you on the line by dummying an undercut but I just got a wheel on the gravel and that killed all my momentum, might have been close otherwise. Was a tough one for sure! Think it was around the end of lap 7 where I remembered a clio race from Spa I think where I lost the race just from going a bit offline through one of the corners which gave you a run on the last lap to win so I made sure I positioned the car in the right places so if you were to get alongside I would be able to hold on to position without having to compromise my corner exits. At the end of lap 8 I was fairly confident I would be able hold on if I didn't make a mistake, which I did, but only just.
Best lap 04.2
Was pure racing incident - Lancer lost it under braking and Mole was there.@Furinkazen, are you looking into that incident at turn 1 in R3?
Ask and you shall receive.I would like to see a replay of said backwards apex by Lancer. Sounds like great banter
Will we be having the stewards report like in one of the previous rounds as that was good for everyone to get an insight into what the stewards do and how they make their decisions.
Can we have Clio tables while you're at it?Busier than expected day, so table may come tomorrow.
Race 2 - Rofl gets a +5 SECOND penalty for an incident with @Spurgy 777 . Relegates Rofl from P6 to P9.
Sigh...
Not sure why you are sighing...
What is this, "To the top of the FWD standings at any price"?A 3 place penalty for intentionally hitting someone off and making them lose 7 places doesn't add up, especially considering he made Lancer lose 3/4 places by intentionally running into him too a few laps earlier.
