Sorry if I was in your way @CAMikaze , I f'd up the start dropping 5 places right off the bat and then I was just nothing but in the way. Pretty much had Mazda2 brakes on a Mazda6 is what it felt like. Several seconds off pace, this is just not my thing. I'd also like to appologize to @The Stig Farmer since he was the only one that didn't qualify and could have taken my place.

Gooood few races, I like Nurb, one of my favourite circuits.

Race 1 was amazing, great racing between Nin, Spurgy and I. Not many overtakes but the race-long pressure was huge, was 100% pace the whole race and one mistake would have cost either of us a position.

Race 2 was an odd one. Sort of ended up P3 with Furi and Cami ahead after 2-3 laps, I don't really know how, then was just a case of catching and picking people off, nice easy win in the end.

Race 3 I started 15th and was 5th after T1 courtesy of Lancer's backwards apex. So then was similar to Race 2, had to catch and pass people. Had the littlest of nudges with Yera which lag-punted him to the A1 Ring, but by the time I'd got through to P2, Spurgy was a little bit too far up the road to be able to catch him.

Good points, enjoyed the racing too 👍

Was a tough one for sure! I was expecting to finish second at best but when I noticed false start was on I knew I had an opportunity to challenge off the line and give myself the track position I needed to attempt to win the race. The first three laps or so I was controlling my pace a little just to make sure I didn't make any mistakes because I knew I'd probably be harder on the tyres compared to you and Spurgy. I think it was around lap 6 where my front tyres started going off and the gap started to come down but I had recognised where you were gaining in comparison to me. The gap always closed in the first sector and you'd be all over me through s2 before I'd pull a small gap in s3 to give myself a good gap in the last sector but because my tyres were going away my advantages were too as I was struggling off the corners much more compared to earlier in the race.

Think it was around the end of lap 7 where I remembered a clio race from Spa I think where I lost the race just from going a bit offline through one of the corners which gave you a run on the last lap to win so I made sure I positioned the car in the right places so if you were to get alongside I would be able to hold on to position without having to compromise my corner exits. At the end of lap 8 I was fairly confident I would be able hold on if I didn't make a mistake, which I did, but only just.

Best lap 04.2

I was hoping I might be able to get you on the line by dummying an undercut but I just got a wheel on the gravel and that killed all my momentum, might have been close otherwise.

I never really had a big chance to make a pass, was definitely better into the slow left T3 but I couldn't do much with that advantage, could get alongside but couldn't get track position. I could get a good run into T5 as well but it's not a great passing place and I couldn't ever get the inside line. I wasn't good enough through S3 or off the final corner so I couldn't ever use the draft to an advantage either. You had pretty much everything covered, was just trying to put pressure on that you might make a mistake but it never came.

My fault for making such a crappy start, was being too cautious with the lights to prevent a jump start.

I guess it was just my typical rotten luck at the Nurburgring. :grumpy:

Will we be having the stewards report like in one of the previous rounds as that was good for everyone to get an insight into what the stewards do and how they make their decisions.

Not sure why you are sighing...

A 3 place penalty for intentionally hitting someone off and making them lose 7 places doesn't add up, especially considering he made Lancer lose 3/4 places by intentionally running into him too a few laps earlier.

What is this, "To the top of the FWD standings at any price"? :dopey:
