True, but where did you finish in R2? :)

High enough to outscore you and Joe overall this round and only lose 4 points to my teammate Nin :) And in R2 my mistake with @chrisjohnson93 and @RedPartyhat crashing because he was on his phone did more to effect my race result than anything you did. Without those two incidents and just your attempts to hit me off I was definitely still in contention for a win. :)

Wow, that was eventful.

R1: Great battle with @LewisR3 and @chrisjohnson93, thanks for that, it was a lot of fun. From my point of view also pretty clean with the occasional trade of paint. P12
R2: Started from pole and actually was able to lead the race for I think 4 laps. Then the Audi train rode through... Still I'm happy with P7
R3: 3-wide, 4-wide, 5-wide... WTF? Started 8th was 4th on the 2nd lap, then 8th, then 4th... P10 in the end.

All in all I'm quite happy with my races, I made no major mistakes, although I was hoping to be a bit faster.

I won Race 2 despite you punting me, and finished P4 in Race 3 with you in P5, despite you punting me twice, so what exactly did you gain?

Think you need to reflect on why we all take part in this.

I knew there was no chance of winning, so I didn't try. Even if I won on track, do you really think I'd stay there? I take part to have fun. :)

Can I ask anyone not to stream when being in the race lobby? That 🤬 ups the rooms and, whatever happened today might have been caused by a live stream.

I had to back off because of the stupid grid bug that STILL exists. I am really angry about what happened as I could have had a fun night like Monza or Maggiore.

We seemed to fix it by switching off fixed host and using a public lobby so you could have still raced but you left.

I think that's the reason he retired. He didn't have a good setup so he was placed lower than he wouls normally be.
Also won't lie John but you did have a little bit of road rage tonight. If you think someones done something bad PM stewards.

I had 2 people ram my rear while braking but will not report anything because that race never finished.

Zero offense meant mate but if you had a better set up you'd be having a somewhat different opinion.
Ermm no mate, watch the last race I did (for example) and watch me get shoved from pillow to post, me and my boy was just laughing at it no setup would have changed that. I'm not moaning or knocking your series 1 bit mate trust me.

That's the exception rather than the rule, though. And even we were bashing each other around pretty good.

Rubbings racing, driving full unabated speed thinking there are 13 mobile brakes in front of you isn't... as you know...

Surprised you didn't report anything to the stewards, particularly the overtake on lap 7 that put you into a spin losing you 5 seconds, also the ones on L2 T1 and last corner of L4 although they weren't as bad still probably should have reported them. Having said that you were also quite unlucky early on getting screwed over by Chris's lag twice (lap 1 and 4) which lost you about 10 seconds and caused a lot of the mayhem and bumping that was going on in that race.

My point is that yes there is definitely some bad driving going on (from nearly everyone with varying degrees) and when it happens you should report it to the stewards, but a lot of the contact and chaos is from people making small mistakes (or a bit of lag) when were all bunched up, mainly at the start of the reverse grid races. All it takes if for someone to run a bit wide or brake a little late and you have a chain reaction where someone is fired out the other side or someone runs into a stationary car. Reverse grid races are a particular pain in the 🤬 because it's difficult to know exactly when to brake when the people in front of you could be 2 seconds a lap slower and what you consider to be early braking is their late braking, making mistakes even more likely.

Only way I can see of improving the racing quality is to spread the field out more at the start which can only realistically be done with rolling starts. As it is right now if I position myself right I can clear most of the field in a lap or two of a 10-15 lap race usually because the minefield that is a 15 car group within 2-3 seconds of each other going 2-3 wide into corners will have fired a few people off or put them wide. With a rolling start you would have about 0.5 seconds between each car so around 7 seconds covering the entire field and we wouldn't all end up in a pile at T1 and the general group size over the race should be more manageable in theory. But Furi doesn't like rolling starts because reasons and not BTCC authentic so I suppose we all just need to get gud. :D

I didn't come in this season to take it seriously just wanted to see what the racing was like now before I committed hence why I didnt try harder in my setup or want a teammate nor didn't want to keep going to the stewards, it's funny because most races were the same but as soon as I done it to someone (on purpose) wow complaints left right and centre.

It's Toca, you have to expect some nudging here and there, albeit most of it is unintentional while the pack is close together.

However when it comes to intentional shoving off the road, that's not what should happen, and to be honest I haven't seen that happen in 4 seasons of toca (or however many I've done) until last night. If you're saying you're doing that then you shouldn't be doing online racing like this, stick to public lobbies, imo.

I do think the reverse grid X2 is a bit much, though, it does lead to a huge amount of bunching and first lap drama due to the difference in expected braking points etc. - could we not do something like a "top X positions reversed", so top 6 reversed or something, for future seasons? (Although reverse grid is not the reason for Rofl's actions yesterday it has to be said)
