Thing with prototypes though is that they aren't always put together all that great, unless the car was overhauled to a near production spec after all it's testing mule activities.

But it's a handmade French/Italian supercar from the early 90s, so it's almost normal it's not put together all that great.

The early 90s really was a golden era for supercars, both in design and performance. I feel the EB110 has aged beautifully, although once again in the McLaren F1's shadow.

The car was actually used to fix production issues...
Further to this, it was used as a test bed for the evaluation of several other modifications. The factory-spec EB110 had a significant issue with fuel delivery. The car had two separate fuel tanks and fillers, one for each bank of the 3.5-litre V-12 engine. This caused the engine to run on only six cylinders if one tank ran dry before the other. The prototype introduced a dual tank with a single filler to eliminate this problem, and also featured a revised gear shifter and lightweight carbon fibre engine cover, modifications not seen on other EB110s.
Beyond that.
Presented in concours condition in stunning light grey metallic, this rare EB110 SS prototype shows just 3,300 km on the odometer and is arguably the finest EB110 in existence. The car was recently fully serviced by HR Owen Bugatti of London, is UK registered and is ready to drive and enjoy. It also retains its original books and tools. Considering its exceptionally low mileage, its use as a factory test bed and known ownership history from new, it is plain to see that this EB110 SS prototype is a remarkable automobile in every sense and one truly fit for inclusion in the world’s finest collections.

The '89 Turbo is a 964? I think they just threw in in with the rest, but nevertheless that is an incredible collection. I keep forgetting that the 964 RS is 25 years old by now, so it can be imported and registered in the U.S.

That yellow RS 3.8 RSR intrigues me the most since all or most of the 55 RSRs were raced and had a livery at one time, but there were 2 road legal ones, one of them being yellow. May not be this one but still amazing to see one for sale. Also from the listing: "The engine cover bore distinctive "Carrera RSR" script in a large font, making it easier for slower cars to understand what just passed them."

Edit: Another super rare 911 for sale. Can't link pics, but here is the listing:
https://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1993-porsche-964-turbo-s-leichtbau-2/

It's a '93 964 Turbo S Leichtbau in Midnight Blue, red interior, Amethyst wheels and gold brake calipers with 59 miles on it! May be an odd color choice, but it's very unique and rare. Gonna hit close to $2 million easily I'm sure.

Another 911, because I suppose that's all I pay attention to these days. This ones pretty significant, though, for Porsche and motorsports.

It’s the 1974 2.1 liter Turbo RSR, 1 of only 4 made (chassis R13, the 4th built) and very first turbocharged 911 race car. It competed at Le Mans in 1974 and placed 2nd overall. Estimates are $6,000,000 - $8,000,000!

Link to auction page, where there is a whole ton more info on this car:

Wow... super rare car. I didn't know they made a (4) Turbo RSR.... I guess this lead to the 935.

Fabulous colour scheme, but the extra body work on the rear lid makes it look a bit of a 'hunchback'.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of this car either. Seen it plenty of times, but I assumed it was a 934 with extra bodywork and I never gave it a second thought. It was the first I learned of a 2.1 liter 911 also, which I believe these 4 RSR Turbos are the only 2.1s there are anyways. Cool stuff, fun to learn about.

1997 Mazda MX-5 Miata M Edition with just 120 miles. Asking price is $30,000.

The Miata M Edition is a special edition which includes an exclusive paint color (Marina Green), polished Enkei six-spokes, tan leather interior, and a Nardi shift knob and parking brake. Just 3,000 of these were made.

I don't think it's possible to find a NA Miata in better condition this for sale.

And that makes it worth that much...?
Its not.
Thats what the seller believes it worth cause it has only 1k miles, its a "new" car, its a Lexus and Land Cruiser have high resell value.
If you google the vin, you find it was brought at auction in Aug. 2017 for just over $11K and it has a open recall .

Nope.

...

...

Sorry, it's been bugging me literally all of 2018.

:P
Fixed

Not bad. Considering a Salvage with 335,000km, extremely rough, in the same colour and trim went for $45k, I'd say that's not too bad.
