FSR's Legend of the Streets 峠 & Wangan Masters 湾岸 |Discord Link in OP| Touge Season 15 FINALEOpen

R factor seems possible, but for the time being I don't mind being last gen until the next GT honestly. And even then I'll wait for course creator most likely. Nothing beats true touge courses and Nurb just isn't the same.

So for me I'm looking to hone my skills now in gt6 and make the most of what we've got going now.

Hoping getting some stream/YT content will bring more people in or gather more interest.

I'd be willing to go PC, but I currently don't have a gaming PC nor do I usually game on PC. Plus I just like GT.

I have a powerful desktop at home, but It's really for video and photo editing. Only games I have on it are Sim City and Command & Conquer 3 to unwind between long editing sessions lol.

I'm actually considering getting a new capture card as well. I had a Roxio but it was admittedly a piece if crap. So I never used it, such a let down, wasted $130.

I'm thinking AverMedia or El Gato.

I wanna put instructional and documentary style Touge videos out there. I mean other than Battles and streaming. Like a video Magazine for LotS.

Snake, you can edit videos?? I have an El Gato, and it works amazing so far.

We should work together man! I have content right now but a little intimidated by editing as I've never done it before.

Love that idea man, would love to see some instructional/documentary stuff

H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks YEAH!!

I've been editing videos for almost a decade, since high school bro. I'm actually in college for Film right now.

I own a Lenovo D20 Workstation PC with NVidia Quaddro graphics. Decent for gaming, I can run Sim City and C&C on max easily, but games like Battlefield 4 on PS3 level graphics at 1080p.

It's really meant for 3D modeling and AutoCad. So it runs editing software with ease. PC > Mac all day!

This is a video I made years ago for the now-defunct Wangan Masters Tournament which I ran on GT5. I've improved vastly since.

We could collaborate using cloud servers to share the footage and edit. It's a complicated ordeal to set up effectively but well worth the effort.

Snake, that's pretty sick I like the way it's recorded and the overall feel of it. Perfect, I want our league videos to really capture the magic ; ) I'm looking forward to see what you can do now since that video is from so long ago!

There's a cloud service through google right? if you have any info about the process of setting it up let me know, I think using cloud to share footage is a great idea. Otherwise I'll look into it, this is good.

Yes. Just yes.
Let's do this thing folks!
I don't have any recording software for my PS3 tho, but I'm confident we can do this and it will be awesome

The thing about video footage is that the files are very large, especially if it's a high bit rate and resolution. Like 100MB/Minute for really good 720p or decent 1080p, and up to 150MB or more for HQ 1080p.

Could services from Google and Microsoft limit you to like 10GB which can fill up fast with video. Other options with more storage and bandwidth would cost money. Which wouldn't be an issue if we were making money from ad revenue already.

I'm thinking of something like DropBox. At school we use AVID Media Composer's first-party cloud software to share videos and collaborate in real-time. But that's a service that costs a LOT of money. I edit on AVID at home. It's a very complex and robust software with a very steep learning curve, but it's the industry standard. It's the software used to edit major motion pictures, Hollywood level stuff. I'm pretty good with it.

If you wanna learn editing, I suggest you start off with something like iMovie on Mac, or if you have a PC, jump straight into SONY Vegas. The are countless tutorials online for it. It's what many YouTube'ers use because is user-friendly and intuitive.

I started with Windows Movie Maker in high school, then went to Adobe Premier. I started using Final Cut in college but I despise Apple products. I switched over to VEGAS for my personal use amd was using it for a long time. That video you saw up there was actually done in Adobe AfterEffects for my College Editing class and I got an A. Cut the clips in Premier, created the Comic Book backdrop on photoshop, and compiled the final video in AfterEffects.

I started learning AVID in my advanced editing class in college and fell in love with the program. Now I don't use anything else for editing. Still use AE for special effects and graphics, then import them to AVID.

I could look into free and plausible options for video-friendly cloud services. You should do the same.

There's no compelling Motorsport gaming videos online, and it's a real shame. All you see are drifting videos and the occasional highway cruise videos.

The thing about LotS is that we aren't just one person or team. We're a whole organization with a breadth of variety in our roster. The custom tracks. The battle styles. Touge, man. There's nothing like it!

The only person that used to put out quality GT content on YT was Valdudes, and he's since moved onto PS4 and other games. Doesn't do YT anymore, but streams his Art and occasional gaming vids exclusively in Twitch. You should look him up, you'll probably find me in some of his videos making cameo appearances. He ran some Touge back in GT5, but not with LotS, just casually.

Anybody gonna get on?
Me and my 106 are itching for a challenge
Tomorrow maybe? Idk

I'm still around. Anybody on? I'll be heading out of state in a few hours and probably won't get on until middle of next week. Unless I get online on my buddy's console ... If I do, I probably don't have many cars to drive lol.

The current classes are kind of tricky. It's hard to find cars that go that low without stage 3 weight reduction

It's designed so that you cannot hit all 3 caps with any car. You'll either be at the weight limit, or power, or PP. Occasionally 2 of 3, but never all 3. The purpose is balanced competition.

You'll habe to sacrifice something in order to be eligible. There are a LOT of cars eligible for any of the 3 classes. Chances are, the car you want to use is already at the limits in stock form. Or maybe it won't get in if you do an oil change to it. More often than not, those are the cars the class setup was meant to curb because they tend to be the only cars people want to run.

Now, which car had you in mind?

Ah, I understand more, I was trying to hit them all and the cars were becoming a bear to drive. I've playing around with various S2000s and S chassis
