Everyone located in the USA, what are the fuel prices in your area? They've been dropping significantly over the last couple months, and although people are saying they will go up quickly soon, I have yet to see it. In fact, they are still dropping in my area.

The fuel station I stopped at this morning has regular unleaded (85 oct) for $2.47/gal. I filled up my GTi with premium at $2.59/gal.

Yesterday it was $2.69/Gal($2.66/Gal with my SA rewards card) when I filled up. Hopefully it will continue going down.

Oddly the gas station by my work, which is only 15 miles away, is routinely 10 cents more per gallon.

$2.79-85
$2.92-Premium
I'll be going on a bit of a drive next weekend from Pittsburgh to Atlanta, so I'll be able to see how it is through the country. Normally Tennessee has the lowest..

$3.07/Regular was the cheapest, but you sure know it when a 4 cylinder that averages 32mpg will burn through 1/4 tank under normal driving in less than 15 miles. Go buy $3.29 gas and it magically lasts longer...

Gas hasn't gone under $3 yet. Haven't seen $2 gas in 10 years easy.

$2.89 for regular
$3.19 for Diesel

They've started salting the roads now so my truck won't be driven for a few months and I sold my '84 Turbo Diesel Mercedes which means I don't have to worry about diesel prices anymore. With the winter blend coming, I'm sure diesel is about to jump up in price around here too.

The price drops in the U.S. has caused the same thing in the border cities here, so the prices can compete

Great :D

Gas is a little more expensive up here in the valley - I filled up my car with premium at like $2.9x/gal. yesterday. Cheapest gas I've seen in my area was $2.65/gal. for regular when I was out today.

$2.59 87 octane
$2.79 89 octane
$2.99 93 octane
Yes, I use octane instead of "regular, plus, and premium".

It goes as low as $2.48 in some places.

Oh, and diesel is $3.09 I think.

Its hovering around $3.00 or so here - Average has run $2.94 for the past two weeks, special deals will get you as low as $2.84 if you're at one of the member stations.

Little down the road, I saw $2.55 for regular. Over where I live it's $2.69 for 87. $3.40 for premium.

Why the ginormous price jump? Because half the cars in my town take premium. That's where they make the $$$

$2.70/gal for 87 octane (regular)
$3.21-$3.49/gal for premium :scared: (92 or 93 octane depending on the station)

I got 87 for $2.69 last night which is the lowest I've seen yet. Consistently 5+ cents lower here in Columbus than in Dayton 1 hour away.

$2.88 for premium (91 Octane) at the Shell we usually go to. They have been consistently dropping though about $0.04 a week here.

The cheapest I've seen around here for regular is around $2.65 and $2.85 for premium, though it's gone back up so that regular is now around $2.80-2.90 and premium is around $3-3.10

My area is averaging about $2 95/gal. for regular.
