For the record and comparison, this one was taken on September 28, 2014. Different location, (504 West Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90015) but still in Los Angeles County nonetheless:

Down to $2.12 now...

I'm starting to have mixed feelings about the fuel prices going down. My dad's an architect who is designing hotels and apartment complexes for oil field workers in North Dakota. If fuel prices go too low then it won't be profitable for the oil companies to mine in North Dakota, and my dad will have less work there.

Never thought I would ever not want low gas prices...

Yea, my dad sells steel pipes (mostly to oil companies) and business has been slow state wide for over a month now. He said 18,000 people might lose their jobs due to the low prices...

Did oil prices plummet today or something? $2.09 on the way to work, now $1.99 on the way home. Celebrated by filling up the GTi with premium for $2.11/gal.

You're down in Casa Grande, right? Premium's still going for around $2.50 near my house, or even in the $2.80s at some of the more overpriced joints.

Yeah. I first saw the $1.99 in Maricopa when I was there on my lunch break and then saw the same price at the QT I usually fill up at on the way home. Thought a whole $.10 drop was huge since it's been dropping in 2-3 cent increments.

$1.94 for regular unleaded / $2.20 for premium - It has probably been 6 years since I've seen it under $2.

$2.75 for regular and $3.60 for premium by my house. I don't even understand how premium is nearly a full dollar more than regular.

Because your fuel company is at the border of bankrupt!
Who buys Premium fuel at these times... Facepalm
