Unless you live in a city like LA, or New York. It's a lot cheaper to live over here.
I was in Florida the other week and past a few stations and saw the prices! was so jealous :P Shell V+ in a golf GTI on a student loan :P haha about £60 (~$90?) a week in fuel :P

I don't understand how our oil is getting cheaper but the gas prices just keep going up.

I made some calculations and the cheapest here is about $3.21 USD for a gallon.

And it just get more expensive when you start going south..

What do you guys have for refineries down there?

Edit: It was $2.47/Gal. for regular when I stopped today, but with the rewards card it was $2.44/Gal.

I think we have 6 of them

We were fine on prices back then as the Premiun was about 1.70 a gallon, even with higher oil prices than now.

this makes me cry :(

just worked out its like $7 a (us) gallon in England!

The lowest equivalent in my area comes to $6.11 in US gallons at the local Shell. That's 5 pence per litre below the UK average (about $6.76 US gallons).

Compare those to the local motorway services (also Shell), which are currently hovering around the $7.17 mark. And to think that these would have been considered unthinkably low prices just three years ago.

Paid $3.19 for some premium tonight, but the gas station by my house is rather expensive for my city.

$2.69 right now. It dropped 10 cents recently.

BUT - it was only $2.19 for about a week before skyrocketing to $2.89 overnight.

Gosh the USA's prices are amazing, and to think it has to be trucked thousands of miles to service stations and can still be that price!

We are about to hit the magical £1 a Litre ($4.54 a gallon), the last time it was this price was 2010 and there were massive protests!

I know, it's pretty good compared to Europe. People got pretty agitated back in 2008 when it peaked at $4+/gallon. I heard stories of people filling up their SUVs for nearly $100 per week just to commute for work.

(ashford sainsburys 114.9, local shell 123.9, Canterbury esso 109.9!!)

(a shell in central London 113.9....I wish I knew why)

A lot of people in this country are not smart when it comes to vehicles purchases to be completely honest. Most large SUV's are really unnecessary.
