Fuji 650pp :10 & :40. GTP Event 2 Practice Race.

Just had a couple of fantastic races, with pit stops. :) First one me, Sphinx and LinPark being very close at the end. In second one same again with Sphinx. Thanks for the awesome races guys. 👍👍

I really like this pit stop rule. Makes every corner count when/if you don't have anyone in front pulling you back with draft from minor mistakes.

Yep great fun, and the best racing I've had for a long time. 👍👍

Hey Scubba how are you doing....i see that your driving style is just the same. I hope that you do that with a Mod watching.

Yeah, great racing Animera, thanks. I think I'm back in sync with the M3 again. My best lap: 1'43.667

Was that in race with drafting ? or just on a free run ?

Im just trying to guage what's generally seen as a reasonable time for a free run ? Had my first run's in the M3 last night and was only turning low-mid 1.44's on a free run :nervous:

That was in a race with drafting, my average free run time is around low 1'44's to high 1'43's. 👍

Timppaq has done a 1.41.861...

Without draft

There's more to it too.. I did do 1'41.76x but the first corner was a tad wide.. no matter though as I've been faster cleanly on T2 than on that lap.

But to answer the question, 1'42.5 is enough to win any race. 👍

edit, and there must be a few tenths more as I'm not the best hotlapper here :)

are you running on R2's or......?

Many thanks to Joeninety and Tizzla for coming to the practice races. guys.

Hope I can get back to racing you guys soon.:nervous: Still having trouble. At some point I will be back. I hope.:nervous:

Fantastic lap Timppaq.:eek::crazy::scared:

Well looks like im going to be in the :10 & :40 races for the next few days getting some much needed practice in.

Anyone else going to be in there tonight ? I'll be going for full race conditions with Pit stop run's as well.......

Strange thing. I made third gear just a tiny bit longer and immediately lowered my best free lap time with almost half a second.

I know what are you talking about! It's amazing how small things make the lap in the end...

There is lots of torque in BMW's V8. Look out MAY's replay from 'online event lap times'.
