THANKS TO THE GTP MEMBER RED FERRARI. THAT JUST SHOVED ME OFF THE TRACK. YOU WANT TO TRY USING YOUR SIDE VEIWS. I WAS SLIGHTLY AHEAD AND YOU FORCED ME OFF AND THEN CARRIED ON. CHEERS FOR THAT AS IF WE NEED MORE PUNTERS. :grumpy:

I am glad to see so many people like this event, I joined a couple yesterday and it seemed great, apart from the punters. I wil join form 18:00 UK time in my Yellow F430. 👍
 
Corvette is the car of choice for this event IMHO - you have to start from the back as on the HSR event (only because nobody uses it) but that makes it more satisfying if you manage to work your way through. Second half of the lap is like a drift event! :lol: Hope to see more Ferraris and Vette's out there taking the places of all these four wheel drive computerised barges.
 
Sorry for punting you by the way in the last corners on the first lap. Your car was suddenly sideways infront of me so didn't have much to do there. :D

They all have their pros and cons, but for a noob the GTR is the car of choice:) You can just floor the throttle and you don't have to worry about wheelspin, without this car I wouldn't even be able to compete with you guys.

btw I just finished the race with an 8 second lead, what happened behind me?

That's ok, wouldn't call it a punt - more of a door rub. The penalty system doesn't allow for a bit of paint scraping or at least not consistently, which is a pity as it seems to happen a lot on this track.

Yeah, I've also cursed the penalty system numerous times. The thing is that sometimes it penalizes you if you try to close the inside, and the other car pumps you while overtaking you trough the grass.

That was my last race for now, going to visit a friend now.

Thanks to prudentbear for waiting at T1 the last race. You came over to the left in the braking zone as I was next to you and had to go onto grass and lost it. You probably didn't see me there.

Punto-0-rama or what!

Total newbies out there. Fancy myself as a bit of a Fuji specialist, so am about to enter the xx : 30 and the consecutive ones hoping for cleaner racing.

Some Brit just brake tested me on the main straight. He expected me to take him off into T3 but I didn't, I was pateint and eventually did him coming into T7 (the bottom hairpin) then he took me out on the last corner...newbie alert!
 
This event is really cool, I am loving it. Great to see you back on the track JASE72. 👍

And great racing you as always MR_VOLCANO, some real door to door action. Talk about race to the finish.

Had a great race with sauber there, he slipstreamed passed me on the straight of the final lap :(

Huperuk @ it was my first fuji experience after the update:tup: consider it a sucsess:) nice battle. Always a plesure!
