Fun with numbers ... P:W edition

Can you tag me next to the Honda ATC200X? I have a 1985 model (same generation). Forget to include that in my post.

Also, here's another.

Vehicle Model: 1986 Tiger 500 R3
Engine: 482cc Rotax Single Cylinder 2-Stroke
BHP (US): 48
Curb Weight (US): 280
P:W value: 0.1714

Google is my friend ...

The GTS-4 is a 4WD version of the non-GTR Skyline. I never knew it existed. Pretty cool. Given the quick explanation I found, I think the 10% correction is accurate as the fronts are not always engaged like an AWD system.

Also, looks like the RB25 is the Stagea version, not the R33 Skyline version, so it's compatible with the drivetrain.

Sounds like a cool car!

Thats exactly right, nice researching!

We did the mechanical side of the swap and had a tuner do the wiring and tuning. It made 211RWKW at 14psi, which is about the limit of the Stagea's turbo. It's a hell of a lot of fun :)

I'll add all these new ones to the list soon. Working from a tablet at home, so copy/paste is a bit of a pain. lol. Thanks for contributing!

Copied over all of the newer entries. Sorry for the delay!

And I found this comparison interesting ... it really shows the way P:W can be used to compare cars.

@Badasp5.0 '95 Ford Mustang Cobra - 5.0L V8 - 240 bhp - 3,354 lb - .0720
@Hayden '13 Toyota 86GT - 2.0 H4 - 200HP - 2766 lb - .0720
Very interesting.

Both are rated at 14.8 1/4 mile times stock as well. Word is a stock Cobra can turn a low 14 stock though. Cobra has the tq advantage for sure, but on a track, I'd give it to the GT86 based on P:W. Which, I think everyone would agree with.
Yeah they were underrated HP since most put down 235/240 RWHP which is the same as the 260HP 99/04 Mustang GTs. But I see the GT28 having a edge at the road course.
