Actually, there is a genetic (although it's not 100%) reason for that.

I get it (red), though.

I do too, it's called Asian flush and it basically is the same as those pills alchys take to convince them that drinking isn't so smart. It is sometimes combined with irregular heartbeat, which is what I get. the enzymes that digest alchohol in your blood are cut in half.

Jay
Princess Juliana International Airport, Saint Martin.

Thanks 👍

Fingers crossed it's in FSX, or available as an add-on, because that, and a 777, looks like good fun!..

Alcohol dehydrogenase deficiency (amusingly "ADHD"). Around 95% of Asian populations, 50% of American populations and 5% of European populations lack the ADH gene (well... they don't lack the gene - everyone has it, same as every other human gene. Just it's an inactive or less active form). And so they go bright red when drinking alcomahol.

It's always an amusing time going drinking with the japanese. my wife was one of the people who has the ADHD.

Heh, I probably have it worse than my dear brother, I took a sip of alcohol once, and I felt terrible.

Yeah, but I wasn't aware that it was so common in asians. My uncle gets bright red when he bench presses and pinkish when he drinks.

At the risk of starting a religion discussion (that means, don't do it guys):
