I'd say that's not the good old days so much as dark, dark times.

The trick to avoiding procrastination is to give yourself very small goals. "I'll just work for 10 minutes", half the time at the end of that 10 minutes you don't mind going further. But even if you do stop, let yourself, and then after a brief stop give yourself another 10 minute goal. Eventually one of them will stick and you'll realize an hour went bye.... says the guy typing on an internet forum in a thread about funny pictures instead of working.

Ok... maybe I'll just do 10 minutes.
