Safety pins consist of a rigid wire (with one very pointy end) heated and bent with a 540° loop at its halfway point and a press-formed clasp. If both components are conductive as they would have to be, simply releasing one end of the wire from the clasp won't cause the current to terminate at the clasp because the other end of the wire is still connected to it.

this is a meme about a youtube channel i like called atomic shrimp. said channel has a series where the owner annoys scammers. this came from a video where a scammer accidentally made a mistake by copying and pasting "dear catamaran detergent" (catamaran detergent is the name of the persona he was using that time around) instead of the name of some medicine.
