Funny/Strange News Stories

Bible Belt Republicans aren't down with the butt sex, because that's a bit gay.
I just find this hilarious because butt sex has been a thing since ancient times. It was a very prominent part of a bunch of different cultures in the Spartan times for one thing.

But I'm not gonna touch on this topic any further because this is GTP

It's kinda true though, they're really more of a cream, sugar, whipped cream, nutmeg, specialty coffee shop. There's not nearly as much markup opportunity in straight black coffee.

Especially when said coffee is crap to begin with hence the need for all the additions.

Someone was charged £930.11 for a single Banana at ASDA

"I believe Magellen already did this."

Although they are wrong. Magellen died getting caught up in some war in the Phillipines. Juan Sebastian Elcano holds the official title for guiding the expedition safely. Although Magellen's slave/servant/idk Magellen's will was quite favourable to him, Enrique, is likely the first as he was from Malacca who was transported to Europe and then joined the trip and thus completed the record when they reached the spice islands.

...Well, here's a little story about the world's unluckiest lucky guy. Courtesy of BBC.

Wait, should that be the luckiest unlucky guy, instead? Oh, and he's only 20 this year.

Wildlife Photography competition winner stripped of prize for using a stuffed anteater...

The winner continues to protest his innocence, despite the fact that there are no 'before' and 'after' shots available. His excuse is that he needed to use a long exposure time (30s) and that the animal walked out of shot before the end of the exposure - surely that would show up in the final image?

Taxidermy experts amongst others have identified the animal as a stuffed one from the same visitor park. "Even the tufts are the same", we're told. Geeeenius :D
