Great. I'm going to help out with testing after I break all the cars in. We are comparing the restrictions for parity, correct?

Yes, we want to try and get the cars on all the cars on an equal playing field as much as we can and use the ballast to even out the drivers on the racing track.

I am going to hold a test session tomorrow in an open lobby in my lounge all are welcome to join it will take place at 12:00pm est 5:00pm gmt

For the Success Ballast are you going to lessen it with a race out of the top placing? Like I get 1st place at Spa so I have a 100kg handicap for Fuji F, But at Fuji F I end up taking 10th so my weight handicap would be halved for Nur GP or would it be stock due to such a low placing?

1st 60kg 2nd 40kg 3rd 20kg... -20kg for finishing outside a podium till all weight penalties are 0. Max ballest penalty 140kg?

Think we should set all the GT-Rs to 1130 stock KG to begin with as well

Dragon with that would the SC430s also be at 1100 or 1130?

depends on HP regulations and if they get any upgrades, like they maybe just even with a stage 2 turbo power limited at 1100kg compared to a stock GT-R at 1130kg, still gotta test it out.

I can confirm that Engine upgrades and Turbo's cut the time by one second...

The more I look into it if we give the gtrs a handicap we will have to also restrict posiible new entries aswell like the 350z

I was also thinking for simplicity sake how about only a success ballast? So that will make the organization on race day will be easier for Gamesta. Say something like this.
50 k for 1st
40 k for 2cd
30 k for 3rd
20 k for 4th
10 k for 5th
If you end up out of the top say you loose half?
Just an idea.

Sorry Guys but I will only be able to get some testing done later this evening I will post here an hour before I can open the room.

I will have test lobby open at 9 pm est I will be testing at spa variouse levels between various cars with fresh tires

Do you mean 10 pm est? I'm ready to go for testing. I've broken in the Eneos SC, Bandai SC, Yellowhat GT-R, Woodone GT-R and ARTA NSX, in addition to my already broken in Petronas SC and Epson NSX.
-Tracks to be used
Spa
Fuji F
Nur GP F
Monza w/chicane
Laguna Seca Raceway
Do you mind switching to Nurb GP/D instead of F? Nurb D reduces variance by bypassing the more difficult sections of Nurb GP. I think you could get more accurate times on Nurb D and more laps per hour of driving.

Yes sorry I meam 10est you can use nur gp/d aswell if you would like.

EDIT room is open now will be open for about an hour or so

Good but short test session this evening with Sagarismic at Spa. I ran the GTR I drove last season the Z and StealthGtr with last seasons hp/kgs restrictions. The 2 Xanavi's ran a fast lap of 2:17.xxx and the Stealth GTR ran a fast lap of 2:15.xxx

I had a go at making a spreadsheet to organize everything together..

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkWhbOO-eCpCdFJwc2dZcFczUVN6Y0NtUzFxc0NEcEE
This is my proposed system:

1. To make the testing valid I think that a maximum of 10 flying laps at each spec, with each car, at each track should suffice. For example. driving 20 laps around Nurb GP/F will give you faster times than driving for 10 laps since you've had 10 laps worth of extra practice....keeping everything the same is key to determine the valid lap times.

2. My second point is for everyone to hop into a Calsonic or Yellowhat with no upgrades, 502 bhp and 1100kg weight and post lap times in each of the tracks. This will serve as a base time. Post the times in the yellow shaded area in which your name is in....

3. I've given everyone 5 spaces for 5 different combinations but I know this might not be enough since there is a possibilty of one hundred different combinations of Car, Spec. So just give me a heads up and I'll allocate more spaces....

4. If you do not understand the spreadsheet what so ever then give me a PM regarding the car you used, what the Specs were and which track it was in.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember what the specs were...

*Specs= BHP, Weight, Upgrades used.

I'll also need your Google Mail accounts so you can edit the spreadsheet...

Thanks KK for access I have updated the spreadsheet with the info I obtained for the stealth at spa.

Cover off my Calsonic GTR from season 1

Would have also loved more tracks...

The more I look into this the best way to organize next season and be able to police all the rules will be to allow all upgrades with a weight ballast for 1st through 3rd what do you guys think

But the GTR's will still dominate by a second or two...
