Wow, over the past decade kids have developed a sort of thuggish mentality in them. They think they are hard ****. Today I was at McDonalds right, just sitting there eating my food..than when I went to leave, there were some kids(bout 9 or 10) outside leaning on my car and "chillen". I asked them to please move and get off my car, but they refused.. and started talkin all this ****. I personally thought it was funny, but sad at the same time. Talking about I'm a ***** this and I'm a ***** that, and what am I gonna do. But yet they still did nothing but talk? I seriously felt like whooping some sense into them but me, being 21 and them being what looked like 15-16 I didn't think that would have been fair. So we stayed outside in the parking lot arguing for about 10 minutes before their parents came and picked them up. But yea, all that talk and they didn't even try to do anything.. I mean they could have atleast bluffed once or twice but nope. I guess it's just another one of those problems where white kids in the suburbs watch to many rap videos and "gangsta" flicks.

I'd love to hear any stories \ opinions on this topic.

I don't think this is anything new or particular to a certain social class. it's been happening for years and i doubt it will change anytime soon.

Punk kids were around long before the 80s. And I don't believe a particular genre of music is the problem, either.

I am sorry that you had some dirty punks leaning on your car, though.

They were leaning on your car... you asked them to move, and they refused? I don't care if they were ****ing 15 years old, I would have knocked their teeth out, or sprayed a couple shots of pepper spray directly into their eyes. I ***** people out just for standing within 2 feet of my vehicles.

Ignorant little bastards. I would have, at least, back handed one of them if they were leaning on my car, and talking back to me.

Yes, but me being one year older than them it wouldn't get me into much trouble. Now, if epic were to hit them... he would have spent the night in jail probably.

Never **** with another man's car. If you do, you deserve whatever ass-kickin' that person feels like giving you.

Don't blame it on Rap. You're worse than Lieberman blaiming everything bad on videogames.

I agree with Josh. No one leans on MY car.

I had that happen two times.
A guy was leaning on my classic T-Bird and he was really close to the car when I *****ed him out, then jumped in and very nearly ran over his feet. After that I was the "crazy guy who would run you over if you sat on his car."
The only other time was when I had my dad's Ford wagon and one of my dumber friends was sitting on it when I came out of the Ice Rink that I used to hang out at.
I asked him several times to get off the car as my dad had just washed and waxed it. He refused to comply. So I got in with him sitting on the freshly waxed hood. I lit off the big 429 SCJ and backed out of the parking space. I gave the big moose one more chance to get off the car. He said "If you want me off, you get me off". So I dropped the old girl into drive stomped the gas, counted to three and planted both feet on the brake. Did I mention the hood was freshly waxed? Add to that the big 'un had front discs...
Well, I never saw a fat dude fly so far. He landed and stopped rolling far enough in front of the car for me to turn to avoid him and I was able to see him out of the right side window.

Suffice it to say, after that, NO ONE was dumb enough to let me catch them sitting on my car.

ouch, pepper spray would be a slap on the wrist compared to that. when you don't have respect for others, someone's bound to teach you a lesson.

I...I just get a little crazy when people park their butts on my car. I tried to "turn the other cheek" I really did. Then I was left with two choices. Pull him off the car and give him a first class whoopin', or what I did.
My choice allowed me to not break a sweat.

I've never been involved either way but I witnessed a situation like this from inside McDonalds one day. I was sitting there eating my cheeseburger and I saw about 4 or 5 punks dressed in all black and one with spiked hair hanging around a super cool car. I was thinking to myself, "Man, those punks don't deserve such a cool ride." So I continue eating my burger, then I see 6 other guys walk up. Nicely dressed teens and they start talking to the punks. The punks start walking away but one picks up a rock and hits the driver smack in the face. Every nicely dressed guy runs after the punk. The others keep running while all 6 guys kick the rock throwers ass. That made my day. :)

He threw a rock, and hit him in the face? Yeah, if someone hit me in the face with a rock... I would be in jail for the rest of my life.

It hit him pretty hard to. After they left the kid laying in the middle of the parking lot, they walked back to their car. I saw his face, it was a little bloody. Nothing too bad, but enough to throw someone over the edge.

What I meant was, I've noticed since the 80's it has skyrocketed.

I wasn't blaming rap for anything.. even though the lifestyles the artists portake can be quite influencial towards youngsters now a days.

 nice story Gil.. I once ran someones foot over, it was in the middle of a parking lot by a Publix and I guess it was a hangout area that night for all these teenagers. Anyway they were blocking all of the road so I couldn't get out, I waited 1 minute, they didnt move...I flashed my brights, they didnt move.. I honked the horn, they didn't move.. I floored it, they went flying! But now I got an Air Horn equipped so if they don't move, they better have an extra pair of undershorts :P

 An air horn! I don't think these "gangstas" aren't really that much talking around bankstown...they use weapons quite easily...that's why it's a no go area at night, lots of stabbings and gang fights around there...And no, it hasn't increased with "rap" music around either...;)

I grew up around Flint and Detroit. I saw this behavior a lot around there. I got into a lot of fights over that kind of crap. I remember one particular 4th of July when me and a friend were at a club. When we got out the streets were like a gang war. I heard 3 people had been stabbed and a couple had been shot.We almost got into it with 4 other guys but I figured that that wasn't the time or the place to get into a fight so we headed down an alley and took a back way too our car. As we were leaving town we were bombarded with bottles and rocks. My friend wanted to head back there with a shotgun and do a little target practicing but I talked some sense into him and we stayed home the rest of the night. Fortunatly I have moved sence then into a small town where thee isn't much of that going on. I see it a little but I don't get too concerned by it because there are usually just a few punk kids trying to act tough. It's not hard to intimidate them and get them to back down. All show and no go.

Easy there, Tiger. Would that really be worth it?

I used to get all psycho on people and ended up being known for it. I guess maybe since I'm older now (or look mean) I just don't encounter much crap anymore. But when I do I go from 0 to psycho just like that. If someone was sitting on my car I wouldn't say a word. I'd just walk up and throw his ass on the ground, or, get in and drive and hope he was stupid enough to not get off so I could run him over. Unlike the "tough" kids I don't waste a word on them and just do what I need to.

The other day some punk in a riced out VW Beetle (is there such a thing? ...big stupid exhaust sticking up from the back, big Independent cross sticker, etc.) almost hit me in a parking lot while driving like an ass. Then he made some big hand motion like I was in the wrong, which I wasn't. I ended up parking right next to him and he was afraid to get out of his car. I motioned for him to roll down the window but he just sat there ****ting his pants. Part of me felt obliged to kick his ass or at least continue to intimidate him, but I was short on time.

I live in a rather rich city, every other house has a Civic with some super riced out body kit and a muffler tip or a BMW\Ferrari

hmm after i finish restoring my car (some of you already heard bout that) nobody better even breathe on it. if some dude was sitting on my hood ill show him what a car with 500hp, 4:11 possy rear end, torque flight tranny can do and see if he can hold on. hope he don't fall off when i slam the brakes becuase ill run him over and burn out right on top of him. i will not tolerate that at all.

Same - in high school some kids threw eggs at my car, so I shattered their back window.

Don't mess.

What makes me laugh is Asians trying to be black. Its the biggest joke, and all you can do is laugh:lol:

And when I drive the old mans car, I make sure my hockeystick is in the boot, mostly to intimidate if theres that sort of situation.
Vandilism (sp?) is another issue and I hope I dont have to deal with that

My last thug encounter was when I was in the serre with a friend when I saw two thugs acting all thuggish and crap in front of our front gate, they were throwing rocks through the gate at my dogs. So I just kind of walked up to them carrying a golf club... they got on their bikes, ran off... and that was it.

No talking, let alone bashing. :(

Nothing exciting ever happens here.

Ooh, nice.

yeah I get that problem with a kid I know and he lives on my road. Back in the day me and this kid were mates and he would just be generally friendly and all. Nowadays he is about my height and a lot of mouth, I just laugh at him and say "your just waffling" but as Epic said I ain't beating up a 16 yr old kid and make me look the bad guy so nowaday I just ignore him.
