I was just in my garage checking out my cars and noticed that when you choose to change the preview icons to the largest size you can't see the Chome Line cars anymore.
In all the other views you can see them but in the largest preview icons they are just blank spaces.

Happens to me too.

I noticed that every time I play this game, my jaw drops and I drool all over on how awesome all of these cars are. Definitely a major problem for this game's competitors. (SARCASM)

Experienced an odd garage glitch. Played the game a bit last night, bought a Mazda Miata from the used car dealership, then proceeded to complete the B license. I received the DEMIO and the GT kart thing. Now when I enter my garage, the only car that I have is the GT kart.

I had to purchase a car to enter the B license, but I don't have that car anymore and the cash is missing from my account. And the DEMIO is gone too.

You are only looking at the PREMIUM CAR LIST- you probably figured it out by now.

About the G25 2nd gear bug- it is NOT hardware problem. I have two G25's and same on both. No other games have that problem w/ G25 and 2nd gear.

Please SONY, fix it.

Tunning bug:

-Installing a Tunned ECU DECREASES the rev lmiter by 300 rpm while diving the car, when the dyno graph on the tune screen shows it INCREASES the rev limiter by 300 rpm.

This happened to both cars I tried it on, (premium fc3s rx7, and hommell berlinette). I completely avoid this mod now as 5-10 hp is not worth the flexibility a higher rev limiter give you.



Minor:

-Shadow jump around very distractingly
- Updates freeze the game after a race forcing you to hard quit and possibly lose a championship etc.

update 1.02 just came out, quit out and restart the game and you should see it.

Nothing major thus far here. Though I haven't had a lot of time spent on the game.

First thing that I've noticed is the minimap does occasionally take a holiday. Not so much of an issue, but sucks when you're still discovering which way corners go at the start of the game.

Second thing may just be me, but I can't read just about ANY of the writing in the game.
Especially the GT Auto stuff, may as well just draw a few lines on the screen with a crayon.

That's been a problem since GT3. PD doesn't seem be able to choose a decent font to save their life when it comes to GT Auto. Do you have an SDTV or an HDTV?

Hi guys, my first post so I couldnt start a thread to help but I noticed few people were getting caught on hanging loading screens. This happened to me just a few moments ago after finishing my Int A licence set. I was about to give up and reset the game from the XMB which would may have resulted in my Licence and trophy not being activated. I remembered that because my PSN was signed and the servers may have been overloaded so I switched my modem off. About 2 seconds after the PSN ID signed out bar came up my game finally loaded up back to the main menu.

When in Special Events...GT Rally by default has the map in the center of the screen. If you change the map from default to off, the map will still show up. You have to hit pause, quick options, then X out of it for the map to disappear. If you notice, the view is still set to "OFF" yet it still appears.

dont forget GT5 will lock up when on the net due to the amount of traffic, disable the WIFI or unplug the ethernet cable & see how much better it is with no lock ups

Ok this game is pretty much unplayable for me.

I got the Driving Force Pro.
Sometimes pressing gas just revs it up but the car doesnt go. Or, the car just stays at the same speed. Unplugging and reinserting the the usb cable fixes this but obviously that isnt a viable solution.
It can happen in the beginning of a race too or during the race, randomly.

I would think my pedals were broken but the brake and rev meters respond to it just fine, just not the car. Whats going on?!?!?!

That's because everything was carried over from GTPSP, so all of the glitches that the cars had in that game are in GT5.

Circuit De La Sarthe (I think that's how you spell it), is not working at all. It just won't load in A-spec mode, or practice mode..annoying me a lot. Anyone else having the same issue?

Works fine here, maybe try going into options before you go to my life gt and down at the bottom under other options you can choose to install data to the hdd, which should reinstall the 8gb of stuff it did in the initial install.

Which one? I have done a couple of races on No Chicane, but I haven't given the other one a try.

One bug that I have experienced is that my track map does not show up sometimes in the HUD for races. It doesn't seem like too many people have been experiencing this one, but it is a bug nonetheless. For those of us that are experiencing this, it's a pretty big deal. I hope they can address it in a patch soon.

How did you paint a standard car? lol

I sure wish I could paint my veyron prize car. It's green.

Standard cars can be painted just like normal at gt auto afaik. You just can't change/paint their rims.
