Agree and it only got worse with these two new tweets i've posted in terms of understanding. I've had multiple thoughts going around with them. Are they going to TGS and making an announcement? Are they going to TGS but not make a announcement and instead just visiting?

And the second tweet is kinda wrapping my head. I know game devs have done something similar like this when teasing an upcoming release so I hope we're right on what Genki is trying to do right now. They've probably made enough money from that Soccer Team Collaboration thing and some cash from the recent racing events they've been to to greenlight the project, plus they got the GRP revived. All of this shows a good chance we may see an announcement at TGS.
Some of those tweet were directly about the stickers.

Just to play with some of your emotions, I found this gem:

Shutokou battle x (aka import tuner)

hhmmm, I saw a EK9 with some audio stuffs, similar to Underground 2 in a way.

Now, this got me curious some of the visuals in that trailer look like they were in a beta build of some kind...

Yeah, who knows how much stuff was going to be added that got pulled!

It's weird seeing a human in txr. I'm used to seeing silhouettes.

I like to imagine they were where too good looking and had to be changed for fear that they would get more attention than the real heroes, the cars!

I'm waiting for my phone to blow up cause I have like a dozen google alerts related to txr. They have been silent for years now.

Was on their twitter page just now. Nothing interesting, just a tweet about some magazine.

If nothing new is announced, too bad. I would assume that they may not announce anything at TGS because they're probably still doing that recruitment thing.

Also does anyone know a better translation source that I can use for translating these tweets?

I just use the translation option for chrome (on phone and pc). There is probably something better, but this is free and easy enough to use

It seems like they might be done with the recruitment.

But idk about a better way to translate tweets. The only advantage I have is an extremely limited understanding of japanese.

Soooo um where are we at with TXR cause I just finished TXR3 and I really would love an HD version of Shutokou Battle series

Kind of hard to understand the translation, but they seem to be letting us know this. "Buy our old games, and we will make Shutoku Battle: Next."

The only problem with this is I already have bought them all (and in some cases multiple copies to replace old ones)

And the only way to get them is second or third party sources. Gamestop rarely has them, so I have to go to a flea market or buy it online.
I would buy it again if they converted it to PC use or on the console stores. But as of now, I'm not going to rebuy a game.

Uhhhh... Right... That's not quite how it works is it. If they aren't producing new copies, then they aren't going to be getting any profits. Used game sale profits don't go to creator, they go to the seller, and maybe taxes/vat. Unless they have versions in the PS store?

So true. I don't know why everyone was assuming that Genki wants us to buy their older games so they can make enough money to make the next TXR game. Game devs can't make money off older games unless if they were remastered. *I get it that it's mostly Google translation's fault to blame on since that's the reason why everyone was confused in the first place.*

I don't even think they were asking for us to buy their older games. I think what that Facebook post is saying is that Genki is currently selling limited edition stickers of the original Tokyo Xtreme Racer dreamcast logo. That makes a lot of sense as Genki have been selling stickers lately.

It sounds like they are still recruiting. Looks like they are now looking for people with disabilities.

Translation:

"In [ Careers ] Genki Co., Ltd. , has been added on a job at the Career and people with disabilities employed . If you are interested , thank you all means enough for applicants."

It looks like we still got long ways to go until they even announce a new game.

I dont think that means they're specifically looking for people with disabilities.

They have been posting about recruitment stuff for awhile but I thought they posted that they had hired a bunch of new people already.

Genki are posting a ton about the stickers they're selling. But they're japan only and people have to send on 800 yen and a self adressed envelope. I want those stickers man...
Someone in japan should buy a bunch and sell em to us.

I would buy one given the opportunity

How does that work if they could reach out to everybody that knows them?
