3x Comp Entries and an extra GT Race Car shot

London_21 by Giulietta37, on Flickr
Trying to fit the Flag colours theme - I tried to get a hint of white diagonals in the rear of the TVR (the closest I could get to a Scottish car - Blackpool in the North). And I found a use for the Scotland Toursit Info place on the London track, though I wanted that to be subtle - turned out a bit too subtle!)
Edit: It's completely unedited:)

Loving the shadowing in the first image, the toning in the second one and - considering the car and location combination - I also think that the warm tones are quite fitting in pictures #3 and #4.

Keep the good stuff coming. 👍

The unedited shots aren't too shabby and the previous couple sets are fabulous as ever! 👍

CCCL Comp entry - unedited

Toscana (Tarmac)_31 by Giulietta37, on Flickr

Messed around with the track's time change, the Cross processing filter and the EV to create a stormy atmosphere. Pleased with the results for an unedited shot.

The first shot of the Tii concept is quite nice, the compostion and tones work well. 👍

I also agree with you your experimentation of the Cross Processing filter, it has worked pretty well and a decent result for an unedited shot. My only crit with it is the car feels a bit too close to the bottom edge mainly because the shadow gives the apperance of a bigger overall size or mass to the car.

I getting a graphite feeling when I view your tii set, probably from the dark hot gravel. :odd:
I'm looking forward to attending your enemies in annihilating you in this week's CCCL competition. :mischievous:

Absolutely agree with George on the latest shot. I think that you did a great job on getting the desired results. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the composition, but we can improve that next time. ;)

Nice work on shadows on the TVR set, especially for unedited shots 👍
I really like you red GT Citroën pics also, even better than the blue ones imo. Great work on composition in these two shots also.
Very nice toning on the first Tii pic and I like very much the composition of the third.
And great work on you last unedited shot 👍

Thanks GPR:tup: I agree with the mass of the car - it niggled as uploaded it, but decided to go with it.

 Thanks Eric:tup: We'll see!! The polls are such a lottery - sometimes it's not about how your picture looks, but how it looks in comparison to everyone elses.

Thanks GT-R:tup: I went back with the same car, same track, same spot & time of day - took a wider shot to allow for a weather edit in the future.:)

Thanks Jérémy.👍 Glad you like the red ones, I nearly went with the blue one for the comp:nervous:

3.0 Comp Entry
Outside the Reception
With this one I wanted to create the feel of parked cars outside the wedding reception in a city - a nice municiple looking building and cars parked at an angle. I wanted also to contrast a sober wedding limo-type car with a sporty -get me the the hotel in style - type car.
The edits are not the slickest, but the intention was tacky rather than stylish - hence the tacky white vignette.

Unedited entry for PMC comp
This is one of the few standards with damn fine headlights. And if you're going to choose a Honda, make it a special one!!

More messing with the cross processing filter and the EV balance to get rid of the plasticy GT5 reds, blues and greens

This is one orgasmic place you got here Eric. Really very beautiful shots here. It would take me forever to name each and every one of my favourites. But I have to mention your "ColdTuscan" shot. I saw it a long time back here before I started editing and whenever I think of a shot in the snow, that one comes to mind. An inspiration of sorts, just never knew it was your's! 👍

And I loved your 3.0 entry the moment I saw it. The atmosphere, something about it. and the tii set is sexy!

Great entry! I agree on the fact that the lights are very nice for a standard model. ;)👍
Thanks Nicolas:tup: The down side on this model was really severe black jaggies on the suspension arms under the car:ouch:

Thanks Sean, glad you like it here:cheers: And what would sir be drinking-on the house...
The Cold Tuscan didn't make the poll in that comp sadly. But I'm glad you noticed it. For me, it was your red Beetle In My Garden - that's what I meant when I mentioned seeing some old friends - a great shot, spent ages trying to work out how you did that shot!!!
Great job on your latest shot, Giulietta73. I totally agree with you on those headlights. 👍
Thanks Nenad:tup:
Awesome work Giulietta!! Great stuff all around! 👍
Thanks Stray, that means a lot:tup:

Very impressive rendering for an unedited shot. Great choice of angle also 👍
Thanks a lot Jérémy:tup:
