Giulietta73's Gallery |Some more comp entries|

Not bad mate, the reflection in the light on the first one is a nice touch and your second edit is a littrle better in terms of the droplet intergration. Nice closeup shots to begin with. 👍

Thanks a lot GPR, GT-R & Croooooow, much appreciated. Sometimes you just gotta jump in and then see what happens. The next step is a full on whole car wet weather edit.

I have learnt more about GIMP in the last week than I have over the last three years since I got it.

Those chrome Tuscan shots are crazy. I think I favor the second one of those just appeals to me a little more, not sure if it s the composition or the fact there's a few more elements in it.

Also the in the heat of battle set is pretty decent my fav of those is shot 4. 👍

Thanks Nicolas & GPR:cheers:

(Please ignore the 3rd Tuscan shot - I got the diagonals going into the bottom corners but there the composition stops! That shot makes the Hangar look like it is half empty and due a re-fit - or an empty exhibition hall after the event has left!!:yuck:)

I liked the 4th Pug shot too, hence the un-edited version was entered into the latest comp.

With the Tuscan, it was tricky to shoot close up because you could very easily lose sense of the object in the picture. The headlight shot looks sinewy, muscular and organic where as the form of the car is very clear in the 2nd shot. I had a fab close-up shot of the rear badge - but too many jaggies just in the lettering:ouch:.

The second Tuscan shot is one of your best shots to date, in my opinion. I also like the way you've captured the details in pictures #2 and #3 from your latest set. 👍

Thanks a lot GT-R:cheers:
I was looking for a Mondrian in the Audi-Pug shots - shot 3 in particular, as well as pushing the composition to the edge of making sense in shot 2 - hence the higher contrast with the toning.

Lovely ! I like the light editing in the last set 👍
Thanks el fayce:cheers: Glad you like them:)

Great job on these R8 shots. I really like the lighting in all of these. They look quite realistic (especially picture #3), as well. 👍

Thanks GT-R:tup:
I was experimenting with layers to create mist while balancing the white of the car - inspired by the way Leeislee used it for his Beetle entry in the 3.0 comp.

Not bad mate, the toning and clean sheen lines are the standout features of those shots. Compositions could have been a little better and they feel a bit tightly framed to me. But they have a good appeal. 👍

I totally agree with George. While I really like the lighting and contrast in these pictures, I find that the individual compositions can still be improved by quite a bit. 👍
