That was the first thing I did when I took my Diablo to that location. When I saw no reflection in the camera view, I thought for sure it was to reduce lag, and they would render it when the picture was taken. I mean how hard can it be to render an upside-down car? Apparently too hard.Missing reflection =(
Reflections in puddles were definitely in GT5, so they did do it...just not there by the look of things - more a continuity error I think...I mean how hard can it be to render an upside-down car? Apparently too hard...
Interesting. IMO the top one looks more lifelike due to it not being clean and perfect.Noticed this on brands hatch. When you are at the top of druids looking down, if you move left or right, you'll notice that the background changes from a horrible looking texture to nice clean one. Youll see it better if you try it.

I thought the same, you usually get a lot of dirt kicked onto the track through there.Interesting. IMO the top one looks more lifelike due to it not being clean and perfect.
See @nato777 response above. I haven't gotten to try it yet but seems like a simple enough fix for the moment. I remember changing filters in GT5 then changing back would really mess with lighting too but at least this time it seems to have beneficial effects.LOD bugs aside, the square lighting glow is really annoying me.
Can't take any nice shots at dawn or dusk, because the headlights are having that effect.
I really hope they patch that, ruined some really good pictures from me already.
I thought that too, but couldnt decide. Will check the real one when im there next weekend! :-)Interesting. IMO the top one looks more lifelike due to it not being clean and perfect.
But it removes flares completely, which I don't want either.See @nato777 response above. I haven't gotten to try it yet but seems like a simple enough fix for the moment. True. Hadn't thought about thatBut it removes flares completely, which I don't want either.
I don't mind flares, glaring and glowing from light sources, I actually like that.
SUPER NATURALAnyone else noticed this? I think the "remove wing" option, adds a wing to your shadow lol
Have to see if it happens in other cars.
Well, that gives ME a sinking feeling too!

This was taken during the replay, though, during the race, the pit crew actually came out for the cars!

Personally, I'd like it if the cars had the air struts to jack up the cars in the pits to give it a better look...
Indeed, yes they have.
I know people say we really should not be critiquing PD, but really.....this is an improvement?
Nah, I didn't think so either.
Also just ran a night race @ the 'Ring.
Um....the AI cars do NOT display a light beam. Could explain their erratic driving.
It's like, their lights are on, but no one is home.....if you know what I mean.
Will post a couple of pics in the coming days.
Edit:
Ok, so the pics are not the best being night driving, but you can clearly see the AI lights, or lack of...
Mine, in my Pozzi Camaro
From above my car
The guy (AI) behind me....
And from above him, you can see me in front....
Kinda weird is all I'm thinking, or another short cut by PD.
