It is really awesome Tim! so easy to navigate via the flagging system and it seems pretty much foolproof to me 👍

Well done mate, Thanks for your time and effort

Updated to include the table containing your records, kartno38 and tortise.

It's available at eu.gran-turismo.com but unlinked to so you need to fabricate the URL yourself (area 60). Let's hope it stays available.

Leaderboards by country are also available now.

Thanks again for the great reception, everyone 👍

Seriously huge thanks :) That is super awesome.

I'm number two thousand and something. But I think that may be just for Australia. Yeah I'm cool man.

Using firefox here and if somebody didn't mention you can sort by flags I would never know, they don't show. Once I moved mouse cursor over one flag, than it would show. Anyone having same issue?

Nice update Tim, I love the country separation 👍👍👍

I noticed from this thread that some would love to see the fastest controller times. Is that information available form the PD server? Would be great with a chart of that.

Cheers 👍

I'm using firefox aswell, and can see them. But I'm on version 3.0.7

Well done zabeu. While I understand why regions only see their own region rankings it is nice to see the global rankings.

Thanks so much for all the effort you put into this

Thanks again guys, it's a pleasure to make something so well-received. 👍

It turns out that the gran-turismo.com servers occasionally dive into prolonged maintenance intervals, during which they will not supply any standings data. If that happens, the gtdb page will list by country how much time has passed since the last successful import.

Pad/Wheel: there is of course the possibility of getting this information from the individual lap listings, but it is not accessible from the combined listings which gtdb traverses.

The country selection flags at the top of the page are indeed very bright. On a properly configured display you should have no trouble seeing them though - if you do, try toning down brightness and/or contrast settings. In addition, the whole flag list will become a bit more opaque as soon as you hover over it on Firefox and select other browsers, that should help a bit.

Now stop slacking and climb up there! ;)
Cheers, Tim

Yeah, my post can be disregarded, I was viewing GTplanet from work using my home PC via Logmein. I'm sitting directly in front of my PC now and I can see flags clearly hehehe

Great job mate. God knows how you do it...!

Well chuffed with being inside top 500 in the world! Biggest claim to fame yet :D

Guys, there's one thing I find weird... The leaderboards in www.gran-turismo.com seem to include more countries than those announced in the official communications (US and EU blogs). Are these countries included in the competition as well? Mexico is included in the official website's leaderboards, but I don't think we're included in the competition. Is there a way of knowing for sure? By the way, the level of competition is so bad, I'm ranked 16th in the mexican leaderboards with a time of 1:52.588.

And again, thanks a lot guys!

The most recent update displays the gap to the leader as you hover the mouse pointer over the standings table.

Also, if you're logged in and made it onto the leaderboard page you're viewing, it will highlight your placement and scroll it into view. Clicking your name takes you back to the top of the page.

(I have no idea if there's a prize for winning the competition in Mexico, btw, but if there is I can't help but agree that it seems comparably low-hanging fruit ;))

, Tim

zabeu - Again, amazing and thank you.

It's amazing to see how close 6-20 are. It's also amazing to see familiar OLR names up there and some new ones (not new to OLR but new to being that high up). Really good stuff guys.

Awesome job, zabeu. Any chance you can edit your first post so that it reflects all the awesome filters you've added to the site?

Damn, you guys are some pretty crazy drivers. Im at 1162nd in the US.. Im definitly getting a wheel because I see that I won't be able to improve much with my current skills and this DS3.. Whats the fastest wheel of choice if someone can recommend? And are their guides anywhere here that would possibly make me faster? I would like to learn. Thanks.
