Ahah indeed, the second pic is so low quality that the yellow/cream leather interior look alcantara, and the racing suit looks like nothing we've seen so far.

 I actually thought it was alcantara when i first saw it, would be nice though having the choice between leather and alcantara.
Although different colours of leather will probably do just fine.

How do you know the temp gauge works? In all the cars it has a reading, it just never moves. We know boost and oil pressure gauges work though.

Well you're right, I don't. I phrased it wrong. If the gauges do work it will be new since they didn't before.

Indeed the texture resolution is incredible. Look at that radio. You can read every button perfectly. Damn insane.

Excuse me, but what are you trying to say? GT5 is a ps3 exclusive.

I think he is hoping for the track editor (assuming there will be one) to have PC functionality (with a seperate DVD) as it is easier and better.

Oh yeah. It'd definitely be alot easier and faster on a computer with mouse and all.

I never thought the second picture to be a night time shot. I just assumed it was a cloudy day.

The clouds nearly look the same to me, they are just darker in the new trailer. Look at the larger clouds, they have the same shape, they are just darker. I think its some filter or visual effect that makes the whole picture look darker, with additional contrast.

The whole picture looks as if someone put a pair of sunglasses in front of the camera, especially when you look at the car (especially the roof).

Edit: Ranko was faster :D

It's not night. Look at the shadows.

And the clouds look the same to me. It's just a different color palette plus the other one is off-screen.

Exactly that.

Work on a good track (if tracks éditor :) ) is better on PC for lot of easy things.

After, i hope to have a PD eyes on Fans custom track édition for have a good community track DLC and not see Buging, and other bad things on DLC track list choise. :)

Same sky texture. It's just different filtering+effects. There are different filters on tsukuba track also and throughout the trailer. It's post-production thing, to make it look more movie-like and dramatic.

Why is the GOWIII Video labelled as concept movie vol 2. This implies it's concept so could be pre rendered, not actually game play.

Or is it they just use concept to explain this is what they currently have and not representative of the final game.

It obviously replay mode
There are part there that we saw from gameplay clips like 1:29 and the damage is obviously the damage from the game that we all saw already..

Wait, its a "Concept" Video? Now its on the european Gran Turismo site (possibly on the US portion as well) and its on GT TV and this all happens a few days after the Nascar trailer? I'm starting to think GT5's release is alot closer then we've been made to believe. Why else would a trailer that people could have easily seen on another PS3 game coming out in a few days suddenly go up on the official sites?

I don't get what you mean, are you saying why put a GT trailer on gttv?

I'm saying they could have just left this trailer on GOW III and have people subsequently watching other peoples captures (as was already done), but they took an interesting decision in putting it on the official sites as well as GT TV. I'm not saying its wrong, just making an theory based on what I've observed so far.

We had the same anticipation in the beginning of the year with the official cover being made and the fact Kaz said it was 90% complete..in the same month (January). What this did is that it made the March release window in Japan seem very reasonable.

What's interesting is the sudden delay. It was literally out of the blue because Kaz said March release for Japan a day before the delay was made. If it was PD's cause, that's a quick change of mind. Because of this sudden news, I believed that it had to do something more about marketing than production issues. If it is because of production issues, it's probably because of them trying to make sure 3-D is done right so it can be a true aid in the marketing of 3D Tvs that are due out soon in the Summer.

So, I agree with you that the game "might" be closer than we think. I'm thinking that the game's pretty much done now and they're probably just waiting for the right time to make their move.
