gold chrome suckas!!!!!

For me, this just looks GOLDEN. Where is Chrome in this paint? Chrome is a silver-colour. You can put chrome on something and it has a silver finish. You can golden something and it has a gold finish. You can´t do both at once.

And if you relate Chrome of being the shiny part of the colour...look at your bling around your neck, in your ears, on your fingers or in your mouth. Gold is shiny by itself. No need for Chrome.

Anybody on my side?

I see what you're saying - this is really equivalent to "gold plating" the car. Maybe they should have called it "mirrored gold" or something, or even "gold plate". I think they call it "Gold Chrome" to denote the highly-reflective, mirror-like finish that it shares with regular chrome. So in this case, the "chrome" part denotes the finish, rather than the color. I used to powdercoat some stuff, and there was a color called "Smoked Chrome" that wasn't silver at all, just a very, very shiny deep gray color.

I came *this close* to doing it. I think tomorrow I will, just to see the hilarity ensue. I'm pretty sure everything will be gold - the shovel handle, the spare tire's wheel center, etc.

I got Gold Chrome. Took me half an hour but I got Gold Chrome and Silver Chrome. Anyway here it is on my SLR.

After an hour of restarting the game I got the silver chrome, then a further half an hour and the gold chrome popped up!

So I just painted a '99 STi in Gold Chrome and noticed the windows are also painted. Except for the windshield. And since the rims on this (standard) car are gold, the car is somewhat of a retina killer.

Anybody else get Gold Chrome'd windows?

My cat has the same spots as that miniature giraffe, and I've trained him to do the kiss thing when I go "Muah!" at him.
